JoJo no Kimyô na Bôken (2012)
A story unlike many!
Often a lesser gem in the Jojo series, Golden Wind in it's own right can be considered a masterpiece. A story which spans across Italy about a young man named Giorno Giovanna, who sets off on a journey with his friends which can rival Stardust Crusaders. A story about dreams, power, and lineage, follow this installment for a good time.
Dirilis: Ertugrul (2014)
Legend.
This is a story which removes the negative stereotype that is associated with Islam in current society, and shows the history of it's proud Ghazi and Beys. A story based on the father of the man who founded the Ottoman empire, created to give insight in the culturally diverse past often ignored. A tale which can be used to inspire many of all beliefs and learn the meaning of what it means to live.
Seinto Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac (2019)
Decent, has potential.
Despite the criticism of this current incarnation of Saint Seiya, it has the potential to rise above the threshold. Despite minor altercations, it bears the name somewhat, albeit with a few terrible components.
Having familiarized myself with this new adaptation of the original manga serialized in 1986, it is quite extensively different. Arguably, one of the more disappointing components are some timeskips which take away from character development. Another thing is lackluster dialouge which can fail to draw in an audience. Harsh criticism has also been aimed towards the modernization of an original story which had intrigued many into a "cult following." Finally, the biggest hit, Andromeda Shun a female(Shaun).
However, in a society which has changed greatly from the 80's, the usage of modernization can be seen as a common standard which appeals to many. And whilst Andromeda is a female now despite the large repersentation he has "had" to society, it doesn't take away the fact that "Shaun" herself can be considered a repersentaion of a powerful female in a completely new iteration. A new story based on the original that is in NO way canon with the classic story. And despite there being other powerful females, this opens up a pathway for a more unique story. We don't watch sports and expect the same matches to happen repeatedly. Was it needed? Hell no. Is it a terrible thing? Maybe. Does it obliterate the story? Somewhat. But then again, it's a new partially retold chapter. Given time, she might grow on the fanbase. Just remember Shun is still everywhere, but Shaun is here ONLY. The pacing and timeskips are what the biggest problems are, accompanied with poor dialouge which impact the meaning and excitement.
Consider the show without it's great history, treat it like a new slice of apple pie.
