Hollywood Ending (2002)

Entertaining movie to see, especially with the director

I caught this flick at a screening here in Austin which Woody Allen attended. He didn't actually sit in during the screening but we had a great Q&A afterwards. The films was good, better than i was expecting after reading the very few comments i could find. It has a very entertaining plot which Allen claims is in no way Autobiographical but seems to me to be a bit. The characters are all wonderful and fit together nicely. The slapstick aspect for Allen turned out well and he was able to pull it off. As a side note during the q&a Mr. Allen had lights in his face so he couldnt make out the audience and he kept facing the wrong way, just like during the movie, it was laugh out loud funny.

I defenently recommend this movie, although its not pertanent you see it in the theater.

Crossroads (I) (2002)

More fun than I could every have hoped for.

I saw Crossroads with a group of about 7 friends, all but one going as a joke. The theater was about 1/2 full and almost everybody in it was doing the same as we were, laughing and making snide comments. EVERY part of this movie was great and i dont even regreat paying to see it, it was worth every penny. As a serious movie, no, i hate it but as a fun flick to go see with some friends that are quick enough to make a worthwhile comment its priceless. Oh, and Dan Aykroyd is AWSOME, not just here but in general.

Robin Hood (1973)

Best animated movie ever.

I watched this movie every day after school as a child, but unfortunatly we had it on BETA and when our BETA machine broke we were not able to find it on VHS. I eventually forgot about the movie until it came on TV recently and I rushed out to buy it on DVD. This is the only disney animation, or any animation for that matter, that i feel is worth owning on DVD.
