Feud (2017–2024)

10 for the Davis-Crawford feud, 1 or 2 for Capote
16 February 2024
As wonderful as the Bette Davis-Joan Crawford feud is, this second one about Capote and "the swans" is my idea of totally sux. The actor portraying Truman Capote just doesn't get it right. I find it difficult to keep track of which woman is which, and none of them capture my interest anyway. For me, the story itself is uninteresting. The characters are uninteresting and absolutely dull. The script is boring and whoever the director is, you need another job. For me, this season two is a total waste of time. Whatever happened to the Charles-Diana feud? Why was it canceled? That feud at least would have been interesting.

Did not like it

I'm with landsmansusan's review. I thought the show was terrible. Far too much background music. Plot difficult to follow and I thought the story itself was ridiculous. Too many predictable lines. No characters with any kind of charisma whatsoever. Too many actors obviously 'trying' to act - hardly anything seemed realistically natural.

And the "guest star" - Chazz Palminteri - seen him a million times and always plays the same part.

I'm glad some of you liked it, but for me it needs major improvement. Otherwise, you folks are welcome to it. Without real improvement I'll be surprised if it lasts through the first season.
