Licorice Pizza (2021)
I Am Not Sure What I Just Watched
Now there's two hours of my life I'm never getting back. I just kept looking at my friend, hoping, wishing, desperately begging him to explain what it was I was watching. I thought I was reasonably intelligent, but this movie came across to me as disjointed, unintelligible dross. Still pondering what just came to pass on the TV screen.
The Prototype (2022)
Torn Between 10 Stars & One Star
This film was so bad, it was good. I laughed so much, everything was hilariously delivered. Acting, storyline, dialogue, props, graphics, character non-development. I think this film created its own new sub-genre. The only real redeeming features were the beat up Land Rover and outdoor filming locations. Brilliant trash!
World War Four (2019)
Claptrap With A Dose Of Cobblers
I found it impossible to engage with this movie. It was difficult to empathise with the characters, or see them as anything else other than wooden 2-D entities *acting* a part. The stock footage made it come across as low budget and devoid of any real depth. By the conclusion I was desperate to chew off my own arm.
Sex and the City: Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl... (2000)
For A Sex Writer She's Seriously Closed
I didn't understand how, as a sex writer, she could be so confused about bisexuality.

I consider myself intelligent... but
I had no flipping idea what was going on. Too many unexplained characters and a choppy story line. It felt random and lacked logic.
It made Poland seem really bleak and depressing with nothing to recommend it.
The acting was good even if I didn't understand the plot.
The Chase Australia (2015)
I bloody love it
Love the Chasers, love to learn new things and Andrew O'Keefe is fine. Best quiz show on TV.
Luna Nera (2020)
Fantastic..totally consistent and easy to follow.
No idea what problems some reviewers have with consistency, acting and plot. This was amazing. Strong characters, emotional, developing story, witchcraft, feminism and medieval ideas all well established throughout.
I felt the pain and anguish of the lead character and had a powerful response to the injustices of the past.
Amazing.
Marianne (2019)
Not Even Remotely Scary
Disjointed, boring, predictable and really, not remotely scary. I gave it two for the scenery and cinematography. Characters with little depth and too much reliance on jump scares. Yawn.
