Blade Runner: Black Lotus (2021–2022)

So much potential, wasted

This really eats me. I did have great expectations for the series. I love the original Blade Runner and the cyberpunk genre. There is so much potential.

The first episode has some beautiful scenes and the audio is well done. However, it is not enough to save the series.

This is like the Cyberpunk 2077 game. It was ok, but left me cold.

The bar has been set high. Black Lotus is not as stylish and polished as Arcane, League of Legends. So, if you want to enjoy a modern masterpeace, watch Arcane. That is pure art.

I hate to say this, but in my opinion, Blade Runner: Black Lotus has a lot of potential... wasted.

The Astronauts (2020–2021)

Great pilot!

I just finished watching the first two episodes. I have to say I'm very, very positively suprised. Why is that?

It's Nickelodeon series. My expectations were low.

The Countdown episode was very immersive. No matter how stupid the idea of sending kids to space might sound. The episode is well written and directed.

Second episode, Day 1, was quite entertaining too.

So, I will keep on watching. This might be surprisingly good action / adventure series.

Train to Busan (2016)

What a ride!

WOW! What a ride!

This is brilliantly directed very touching movie with lots of memorable scenes that will haunt you for a long time.

This must be one of the best zombie apocalypse films ever. Highly recommended!

I haven't seen Train to Busan 2 (Peninsula), but I can't wait how the story continues.

Swamp Thing (2019)

Diamond!

This show is a shiny diamond! A rumour says that Swamp Thing was cut short because the series went over budget and that this excess came mostly because of an accounting error blamed on the state of North Carolina, where the series was filming. Whatever the reason is should have been continued!

I wanted a diamond necklace, but I only got a diamond ring... What a shame!

Almost Paradise (2020– )

Best action comedy/drama for a long time!

This series really suprised me positively. Christian Kane shines! Samantha Richelle and Arthur Acuña fit their roles perfectly. I really liked all I've seen so far. This is the series to watch! Stressed and burnt out ex DEA agent in paradise. Hilarious!

I do recommend this for comedy/drama and action fans. This is very well produced and written. I really looking forward to season one. I hope there will be more.

Some people are criticizing film locations and reality. Really? Do you expect this to be true? I don't get it...

This is pure dynamite! Great start for season one. The series isn't for everyone. For sure! Don't expect this to be Death in Paradise kind of series.

I love the 60's. Do I have to tell you more? This movie? Pure madness...
