Great Deception of Teenage Northern Life

Was recommended this by a friend and ended up binging it all in one night. It's not the perfect show by a long means but if you're around your 30s now and grew up in the north it will surely hit a lot of nostalgic notes with you.

It's the funniest show I've watched in a while, each episode has at least one laugh out loud moment. Really hope they make a second series, I am told it is based on a radio show, so the material is there.

This show is so bad and an insult to sci-fi fans. It doesn't fit into the cheesey but good sci-fi's like Killjoys nor does it fit in with the more realistic shows like The Expanse. This is just plain insulting.

The episodes jump from plot line to plot line that leaves you feeling confused as if you've missed an episode or two. This isn't helped by the insistence on starting almost every episode with a snippet from the end plot line of said episode. Character motivations are weak and the science to back up decisions just seems to be made up on the fly. The characters themselves just don't fit in with what 99.9% of people would imagine / expect from a earth saving astronaut crew, unless of course they held a popularity reality TV show contest to pick the crew. I stuck with it because i'm a sucker for sci-fi, even B movie sci-fi but this is more like a C or D level. Avoid.
