GREAT MODERN DAY FILM NOIRE WITH A COMEDIC TWIST
29 August 2003
This is a great characterization of the novel detective HOKE MOSELEY. False teeth, blind "eye on the street", bust out existence and all. Fred Ward played it to the hilt. J J Leigh is a very underrated talent and played the "PRINCESS-NOT-SO-BRIGHT" role to the bone. Alec Baldwin is great as the pyscopathic, wanna be robin hood stickup man.. This movie is a small movie, but real entertainment..

The Border (1982)
TOP NOTCH FILM
23 July 2002
This is a movie that stands the test of time. It is just as relevant today as it was twenty years ago. This is a movie I would love to see released again. Nicholson was never better, Jeff Morris was great as a badman, Warren Oates excelled as a corrupt ineffectual Police Commander, and the soundtrack was absolutely great. If you like Nicholson, this is collectors MUST..
