Loki (2021)
What a finale!
The whole series was fantastic from start to finish but man were the last two episodes good, and I mean really good. I really enjoyed the time slipping aspect season two focused on and the hope and hopelessness that can come along with it and Tom Hiddleston nailed his performance. This is the MCU at its best with storytelling with emotional creative writing and portrayals. If this is it for Tom Hiddleston and the Loki series, and I think it will be, well they went out with a bang. I've already started rewatching from season 1 and I can't wait to experience it again with a little knowledge of what's to come.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Subspace Rhapsody (2023)
Not for everyone but....
I loved it but it's definitely not going to be everyone's jam. Most science-fiction people I know don't like musical theater, I guess there's only room for so much nerdiness within one person lol. It's a fun episode and the cast sounds great. These season as a whole hasn't matched up to season 1 but then taking fun, creative chances like this has at least been entertaining. You'll get some hits, like last episode with the animated series intertwined into reality, and some misses like the musical episode, though not for me. It's too bad Star Trek nerds are so judgmental, it goes against everything it stands for.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
Everything you were hoping for!
Visually stunning, epic scale, fantastic characters and great acting which is everything you are hoping for in a Lord Of The Rings series. This could of easily flopped like some of the Star Wars series IMO but they didn't cut corners and have so far taken their time developing the characters and the story. Some great tense moments that aren't corny which is a blessing. I've enjoyed this much more than House of Dragon. Don't waste your time on the low reviews from the review bombers. There are no issues with the diversity of the cast, pure PS. My favorite moment moment of the series so far has been getting to see a busy and bustling elven city!
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022)
The beginning of something beautiful!
I wish all sites would turn off comments and reviews. So many are obviously fake with an agenda. Just know this show is something real Star Trek fans will love.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)
So unbelievably bad
Until we stop going to this garbage they won't stop making them. They didn't even try.
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020)
Loved it!
One of the few Will Ferrell movies with heart, think Stranger Than Fiction. Rachel McAdams was fantastic and the chemistry between the two characters were surprisingly great in the music was a lot of fun. Find myself laughing more than I thought I would
The Mandalorian (2019)
Gave it two episodes before I reviewed. Don't believe the bots
Not good, very little dialogue and what they do have is terrible. Visually it's great because if that it leaves you wanting more to listen too. Scenarios are a bit out there on how they are settled. So disappointed...I'd said for several years, even before it was a movie, that they should have done Solo as a series. Nostalgia, snappy dialogue, and an interesting story/backstory because this just isn't cutting it as a fan. Boring boring boring
The Wedding Party (2016)
Nothing new but with a catch
I put this for film because I didn't want anything to thought-provoking about right before bed. All the characters were a little over-the-top and there were lots of cloche's going on but about halfway through I realized that there had been no cutaways. After this realization I started paying attention a little bit more and sure enough it was all one long continuous shot for the rest of the film and it was done pretty well. It actually make the film worth watching just to see how it's realized more so than the story itself which doesn't bring any surprises.
