I've been using IMDb for about 17 years now and have never written a review... Now I was thinking about sharing my love for movies and so I kept thinking about which movie I would write the first one for.
I didn't take long for me to figure out it gotta be this movie. I absolutely love it.
But a lot of my friends never heard about this gem. And I remember seeing it for the first time I immediately wanted to share it with everyone. But when I did a movie night they would not stop talking trough it cause they where kinda bored. They kept talking to the point I was getting annoyed and just turned it off.
So I stopped being an ambassador for the movie haha.
But since you are on this page now... I can advice one thing... Go see it!!
What I love is the fact it combines 2 of my passions. Movies and television.
The story plays out when the main character is a contestant of ''Who Wants to be a Millionaire''.
By answering the questions in the quiz-show we get to see the life story of Jamal.
Of course in real life the fact that all questions seem to be related to things he has seen in real life is likely never gonna happen to anyone, but for the sake of this movie I just love how they made it intertwine.
What blew me away on my first viewing was the fact that the grand showdown scene is set to the music of the theme from the tv-show. Since I love soundtracks and television themes this was the most satisfying experience.
