I like this film!

I like this film because of what Glenn Close has done in her performance of Cruella De Vil. The movie was great, but it's a little bit too long. I never got bored or fell asleep during my time seeing this movie, because I normally don't mind sitting there for two hours or so watching the movie I am watching, and this one was definitely one of them. I liked Eric Idle from the Monty Python team doing the voice of Waddlesworth. I liked the two human leads in this movie, Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans. I especially like Alice Evans as Chloe Simon, she is lovely in all her scenes. Tim McInnerny as Alonzo, Cruella's loyal servant, proves that he has a talent for comedy here as he did on "Blackadder". Gerard Depardieu - I didn't really know about his performance as the French fur designer. But one of the greatest performances that I like in the whole movie is Glenn Close as Cruella. Her costumes are great, bigger than life. This is a way cool movie in a few ways.

Sadly, I'm giving it 5/10.

101 Dalmatians (1996)

This movie is brilliant!

This live-action version of "101 Dalmatians" is superb. I say the animated film's better than this one, because that one is a classic. I absolutely like Glenn Close's deliciously camp performance as Cruella De Vil. She has taken a cartoon character, one of the most iconic villainesses in film history, and made it all her own. I think it was real good for her to bring such a wicked character to life. Overall, I enjoy this film, enjoy all the slapstick recycled from "Home Alone" and it's a real good effort to try and remake the animated film. John Hughes, who wrote the screenplay, did an amazing job, as well as Stephen Herek for his direction. And I must say, those two crooks, Jasper and Horace, played by Mark Williams and Hugh Laurie, were very funny and really acted like the Chuckle brothers or Laurel and Hardy, and I like that about them. And Glenn Close really is the perfect actress to be cast as Cruella in this film, and her costumes, designed by Anthony Powell, are astonishing and fantastic. However, I'm giving it 5/10.

One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961)

This Movie is GREAT!!!

"101 Dalmatians" is a great movie from Disney. I read the original book by Dodie Smith and its sequel, "The Starlight Barking", I watched the animated series, watched the animated sequel "101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure", and watched the live-action films with Glenn Close as Cruella. The story of "101 Dalmatians" is Pongo and Perdita meet up in a park along with their owners, Roger and Anita, the two couples fall in love and eventually they get married. Later, Perdita is expecting puppies. The only person to hear of this is Anita's old schoolmate, Cruella De Vil. On a dark and stormy night, the puppies get born, totalling up to 15 Dalmatian puppies. Cruella shows up in time and wants to buy the puppies from them, but Roger turns her down. Cruella then vows to get even on them. When the puppies are older, Cruella hires two incompetent crooks, Horace and Jasper Baddun, to steal the puppies. They succeed in doing that. All the humans fail to find the puppies, but luck comes when Pongo gives out the "Twilight Bark" to every dog in London for information on their missing puppies. It finally reaches the Colonel, a sheepdog, and his companion, Sergeant Tibbs, a cat. Pongo and Perdita then set off to find their children. Then, we learn that Cruella stole the 15 puppies, along with 84 others, with the motivation to turn them into fur coats. Now, Pongo and Perdita have to get the puppies to safety before it is too late. I love this film 100-percent. I'm waiting for the Platinum Edition DVD to come out. It comes out on March 3rd next year. My favourite characters are Pongo, Perdita and Cruella. I like Pongo and Perdita because this story is about them saving their children from death. And I like Cruella because, thanks to this film, she has become one of the most popular and also one of the most iconic villains of all time. And I am very interested in this story because it's all about good vs. evil as the pups try to outsmart Cruella. It's a real lovely film from Disney, and I'm giving it 10/10. And this is enough talk for me. I enjoyed it and I can't wait for the DVD to come out. Thank you.

101 Dalmatians 2: Patch's London Adventure (2002 Video)

I find this movie very interesting!

I think "101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure" is a very, very impressive sequel to the original. My favourite character is Patch, because that's who this movie is about. It's about him finally getting the chance to meet his TV idol, Thunderbolt, for the first time, and also him becoming Thunderbolt's sidekick. Finally, he does become a one-of-a-kind wonder dog after rescuing his 98 brothers and sisters from Cruella De Vil and her henchmen. They also have to deal with another villain as well, Lil' Lightning, who is Thunderbolt's on-screen sidekick. It's a real good film and I really enjoyed watching it.

NOTE: I'm planning to make 101 Dalmatians III in order to turn this animated genre of 101 Dalmatians into a trilogy. At the moment, I had just subtitled it "Tornado's Revenge", which means that I'm creating a new main villain to replace Cruella for the whole film.

101 Dalmatians: The Series (1997–1998)

I absolutely love the series 100-percent!

I think the series is a brilliant addition to the whole 101 Dalmatians franchise. It blends together all the different versions of the story: the live-action film, the animated film, and the original Dodie Smith book. My favourite characters from the show are Lucky, because he's brave, Two-Tone, because she's lovely, and Cruella, because she is an interesting villain. I'm not saying this show is a failure, I'm saying that what they have all done on making the show has paid off very successfully. I have seen just about 7 episodes of it in a week and not the whole show. It will be lovely if Disney allowed the show to be released on DVD, even though Disney haven't decided on that yet. I enjoyed it, and I'm sure all fans of the show did as well. I enjoyed this show and I give it an excellent 10/10.
