The Rake (2018)

A watchable above average monster horror film

The build up is good. The actors and actresses have good performance.

The downsize is once the horror things started to come, it went a bit fast and thats why the film is a bit short.

Shadow in the Cloud (2020)

A feminist action and horror movie that become a comedy!

Visual and action aren't bad. But the reason for the whole movie that happened has turned all heroic actions by our heroine become a joke. After all the secret is revealed in the movie, it changed from a horror movie to a comedy one!

Watched it in 2020 and it is better than 80% of horror movies nowadays

Characters and plot are interesting. The director tried his best to put in everything with its budget. But would be better if this movie has higher budget or made into a TV series!

Death of Me (2020)

An unexpected inspiring film!

It has its horror and thriller moments and they are great.

The ending is inspiring that it remind you the ending of the first 'The Last of Us' game.

I would gave it a 6.5 if it is 10 years ago but when compare to the quality of other horror films today. I gave it a 8.

Deep Blue Sea 3 (2020 Video)

Unexpectedly good

Not a full 7 but I would rate it higher than 6.5

The environment is great, the characters are above average, acting isn't particular good but is enough to carry the story and plot. I think this is an enjoyable movie and has quite a lot intense moment.

The only complaint for me is when the Shark appear as CGI, it isn't hollywood level. However, when they use 'model sharks', they can still look pretty scary.

For me, it is already one of the best Shark movie in recently one or two years. So, if you like Shark movie, you can give it a try.

Bird Box (2018)

It is better than A Quiet Place for storywise

Liked A Quiet Place because it is so beautifully and brilliantly shot.

But Bird Box has provided a more detailed and complicated story.

You would be surprised for how much story and character development is there in this just 2 hour movie.

Not a fan of Sandra Bullock but she is great in this movie.
