Don't watch this if you are hoping for something historically accurate. The uniforms, and actors portraying soldiers are awful.

I see someone mentioned attention to detail. I didn't see it. He would not have been in the army with that mop of hair on his head. And soldiers of that time period shaved unless under constant fighting. Seems like a garbage production to me.

I usually like these movies. But I have a heard time seeing the Nazis as the good guys. Typical of the French who I read a co-writer was from France to forget who occupied their country and killed millions.

Feeling let down

So much potential, some great flying sequences. However I find that the lack of the writers knowledge of the facts is an insult to those who endured the First World War. Canadians pronounce the rank of Lt as Leftenant as is common practice in the commonwealth countries.
