Transplant: Tell Me Who You Are (2020)
Season 1, Episode 2
9/10
Bring back Bashir
9 November 2021
Really looked forward to each episode ot this series. I'm not a massive fan of hospital shows but this was just a little bit different and yes, sometimes you have to suspend your beliefs, but it definitely caught my attention. I like John Hannah and of course it didn't hurt that the very handsome Hamza Haq was one of the main characters. Looking forward to Series 2.

Come Home (2018)
Irish accent.
11 April 2018
So far after 2 episodes I like this drama. Like a previous post I wondered why the Irish accent? It didn't detract from the drama for me but I do understand, because if I watch something where it's meant to be in Newcastle I'm aware that the Geordie accent is bad. Overall though it wouldn't make me score 1 if the drama itself was good, and I think this one is. Christopher Eccleston is a very good actor.

Loud music
4 February 2018
I had already watched the French series and enjoyed it, so was looking forward to watching this. I'm sure I would have liked it, but I had to turn it off after about 20 minutes, the back ground music was way too loud so much so that sometimes it was difficult to hear what the characters were saying. I get that sometimes background music is necessary to build tension etc but not to that extent.

Guilt (2016)
5/10
You need a bit of staying power to watch this to the end.

I actually laughed out loud watching the first couple of episodes. This is set in London England, was produced by Freeform and Lionsgate TV, & although Lionsgate has a presence in the UK there doesn't seem to be much input from them . I stuck with the first 4 episodes and that was a chore, so didn't watch any more for a few weeks. Then when I ran out of stuff to watch went back to it, and it did get a little bit better. It did retain an element of mystery, I didn't guess what was coming at all. A previous reviewer said "some of the British actors need to work on their American accents." Haha, with the exception of the American Embassy employee who was in it very briefly there were only 4 characters who were American, and 2 of them were actually American!

Shout (1991)
10/10
I liked this film.

Are you crazy? Any film starring John Travolta is bound to be a good watch, he's such a good actor, the actor playing Jesse was cute as well. The storyline was pretty similar to a few films , bad boy falls in love and turns out to be a good boy really, respecting advice from the older guy, in this case, John Travolta. I loved the music scenes, in fact most films with a bit of music are fine with me. Heather Graham played a good part, and I thought the small guy playing the trombone was good. I think this must have been one of Gwyneth Paltrow's early films, I hardly recognized her. I was entertained, although I haven't figured out why the title was 'Shout' Maybe it wasn't a classic, but hey, it's only rock and roll and I like it.
