The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)

Beautiful ghost story...

Even though it looked like a sequel/prequel of the haunting of hill House in trailer , it's not related to that series. The way they created the characters are perfectly splendid. You definitely need so much of patience for watching 6 th and 7 th episode , other than that it is wonderful visual experience. More over its not horror story ,it's just a beautiful horror drama. Definitely worth watch..

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020)

Save this movie from saviours of nepotism....

Inspiring and engaging true story of first Indian female airforce pilot. Janvi Kapoor tried her level best in portraying the character of Gunjan saxena, but her lack of experience and lack of expression didn't let her to succeed completely. Hope she overcome these flaws in future projects. as usual Pankaj Tripathi rocked by his powerful expression and performance. Engaging screenplay and well crafted narration make this movie a good one. Giving bad reviews and ratings for good movie in order to humiliate the star kid is not going to save bollywood cinema industry. Every good movies deserves attention and appreciation without consideration of external problems and reasons. If you people have that much rage about saving bollywood and grudge against bad movies then search that bad movies in Google and give your negative review on that. But giving negative reviews to movies which deserve better recognition and attention is not a right way.

PS: I am not a hater of sushant and I am not a supporter of nepotism.

Story revolves around a priest and his assistant who are trying to save a girl from evil spirit. The movie presented in a very uninteresting way. The slow and weak writing are major problem which let down the movie. The major positive thing of the movie is cinematography. Other than last 20 minutes of exorcism there are not any other scary scenes. The base plot of the movie were very old and Hollywood done many movies in the genre of excorcism. So as an audience I expect some uniqueness from other excorcism movie but I couldn't find any. Watch it if you are hardcore fan of excorcism movies. But it may not please you.

Marrowbone (2017)

Unconventional family horror drama..

A sick mother and her 4 children moved into an old family house of mother in order to hide themselves from their father, when mother dies the elder one make the vow of protecting his siblings from any harm. The portrayal of family values are the major positive thing of movie. The slow moving narration may make you tired but the climax twist will definitely unexpected and make you shock. The ordinary and mediocre jump scare horror techniques were not used here. The performance of lead actors are very effective. And climax of the movie make you shock and cry at the same time. Take a break from mediocre cheap horror movies and try this. Definitely worth watching....

The story revolves around a former detective who try to uncover the mystery behind the 6 years old missing case. The dark and disturbing atmosphere is the major positive thing in this movie. The outline of the story may look alike mediocre killer in lose style movie, but the way the presented the screenplay is really unique. The performance of the actor who played nishino character is really impressive, and other lead actors also done well. The first half of the movie moves like regular mystery flick , but second half of the movie especially last 30 minutes of the movie really make you feel creepy. Watch it if you are ok with disturbing and creepy psychological thriller.

An Average Mystery flick ..

A writer and her daughter moved into an abandoned house in a country side, her daughter talk about some imaginary friend and she started to experience some super natural forces.she use that as a opportunity to finish her story and force her daughter to ask her imaginary friend about her story. The movie starts like an mediocre Hollywood horror movie. But started to take turns after some time. The movie consist of two twists one is during the end of first half and another one is in the climax. The first half twist is decent but the twist from the climax is weak and predictable. The major dissapoinment in the movie is inconsistent screenplay, the first and second half of the movie are traveling in the completely different ways and dimensions. Some of the questions left unanswered. May be the tight screenplay and some impressive climax may make the movie even better.

Engaging screenplay with unique concept.

When a investigative journalist lost his son, he try to uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of his son with the help of lucid dreams. The concept of dream is somewhat similar to Hollywood movie inception. The way they present the concept of dreams is very simplistic and understandable. Fast paced screenplay is the major positive thing in the movie. And the investigation scenes are really nail biting.The way they portrayed the relationship between father and son is really impressive. The climax twist is decent.

Chronicles of Evil (2015)

Well made mystery thriller ...

The story revolves around the cop who killed a unknown man for self-defense during a murder attempt, trying to connect the mystery behind the murder attempt . The performances of lead actors are fine. The biggest strengths of the movie are well crafted screenplay and unexpected twist in climax. The way they solving the mystery behind the series of events is very impressive. The emotional connect shown in climax of the movie is worked really well

When a serial killer suspect dies , cop trying to create a fake killer. But things goes out of hand , when a goon who helped cops in creating a fake serial killer.trying to blackmail police officer. Good backdrop story let down by Inconsistent and uninteresting screenplay . The performance of lead actors are good , But uninteresting screenplay did not let them shine. The chasing and fighting scene are very realistic, this is the only interesting thing in this movie. Climax twist is not so surprising. Climax fight scene make us tired instead of making us nervous .

This movie about story revolves around the man who try to uncover the mystery behind the death of his father. The movie is unwantedly stretched for 165 minutes without interesting or engaging screenplay. And climax twist cannot be considered as twist at all. There are bunch of logic loopholes which weakened the screenplay. Watch at your own risk..
