Was initially excited to watch this then so put off by the absolutely awful reviews. Which upon reflection were unfair also I sensed some pettiness with the critics reviews as they didn't like being asked not to mention what we later learn in the show. I've just finished episode 6 and felt compelled to write this review after the fantastic performances I've just watched. I agree the first few episodes setting the scene are a little slow and disjointed to begin with but it is all leading up to more! Give it a chance there really are some fantastic performances especially Holland who really gives it his all.

No spoilers. Thought it was brilliant, a great coming of age show with that warm nostalgic feel and sci fi twist. I really loved the portrayal of each girl by the actresses I thought it was played so well. Loves the clothes and current references and it really explored teenage feelings and worries well without making it overly feminine it's definitely not a girls only show. I really can't believe it's just been cancelled hence me writing this review it's such a shame as has some real potential. I really hope that someone else picks it up. It's nothing like stranger things but if you like stranger things then I'm sure you'd like this too. Maybe prime was the wrong platform can't help but think it would have done so much better on Netflix.

Loved the first venom initially we watched it to check it was ok for the kids and ended up really enjoying it. I really enjoyed the sequel it is most definitely worth the watch and as sequels go very good. The upsides I loved the cast chemistry I liked the characters and venom really is so funny. The whole cinema was really laughing along to his witty comments and one liners. Negatives the big fight scene was a little too violent for my taste I don't think kids can/should watch this one which is a shame as everything before and after they'd love. Felt the detectives story ending was clunky made no sense and cut short you'll know what I mean when you watch. Overall it was a good laugh, action packed and worth the trip to the cinema. Stay to the end of credits.

I don't know what I was expecting when I watched this but I ended up loving every minute. I've not seen Steve Martin or Martin short on my screen for a long time though I am a fan of their work. Such an odd mix of actors on paper but somehow it really works! I loved the twists and turns and the nod to all the true crime junkies/armchair detectives amongst us. Every other person seems to be on a Facebook crime group these days and it made me laugh that they channeled this so well. I liked the heart behind the characters as well as the comedy element. I watched this show with my partner and teen daughter and we all enjoyed it it's not often you can watch stuff with the family anymore, we loved it and would really recommend.

Wrote this off only happened to watch by chance, instantly drawn in a must see. Huge amounts of violence making it hard to watch at times but it fit and never felt unnecessary for the life of the characters. Gripping storyline, brilliant cast, fantastic acting and amazing fight scenes.
