The Old Guard (2020)
Pretty good, but not the best.
It isn't the best action-hero movie out there, but the plot is kinda interesting, and overall, pretty entertaining. But it does use a lot of clichés, especially in the dialogues.
I loved the action scenes though, I mean for an average viewer like myself, they were pretty cool I'll give them that.
But the the thing that bothered me the most was the soundtrack, like, really? Some songs didn't even relate to anything, and didn't fit the mood at all.
Overall, pretty entertaining, and I'm actually wanting a sequel.
Attaway General (2020)
Utter disgrace.
Just....a big...no. like, just no. This shouldn't have even been made.
Triple Threat (2019)
Fighting...more fighting...and that's all
This just felt like a fighting compilation more than an actual story. The plot sucked, the dialogue sucked, the pacing sucked. The whole movie seemed to only revolve around the action aspect and ignored everything else.
Sweet Boy (2016)
Awkward? Uncomfortable?
I see the underlying message they were trying to show, but the execution was horrible. The mediocre acting, the awkward dialogue and the bad plot made me uncomfortable and confused. The unnecessary graphic scenes in the beginning were also really questionable. Overall, a poorly executed film.
Jo Koy: In His Elements (2020)
Loved the message, but was disappointed
As much as I love what he's doing, trying to showcase his culture and all, the show, although there were a few laughs here and there, overall was pretty dull. Could have been much much better.
