I've been a fan of slumberkins and their books for a long time now and am so happy that some of the characters have been brought to life! Each episode teaches such valuable life lessons and the songs are so fun and catchy. It's not overstimulating and my toddler loves to dance and "sing" along. I hope they are able to make more seasons and bring the full set of characters to the screen! These are the kind of television shows children need. I know I can put this on and feel confident in my decision as a parent that my child is watching something educational, learning valuable lessons, and having fun!

The scariest part of the entire show

I binged this series in 3 nights and honestly this is one of the most gut wrenching shows I've ever watched. The "supernatural" aspect of it honestly isn't even supernatural because each "demon" is literally just their own internal mental/emotional struggle manifested in a super natural being (which is brilliant!). Honestly though the scariest part of the entire show is all of the white children. This show takes place in the 50s. These are our GRANDPARENTS! The children in this show are still alive adults now!!!! People like to pretend that this was lifetimes ago and it really truly isn't and to look at their faces, see them participate, see them not even understand fully what is happening but believing it's right and okay because of their parents is terrifying. This is the same group of people that don't believe in therapy and mental health/illness and say things like "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" while they grew up watching their parents literally rip the bootstraps off of people in broad daylight. That generation is terrifying and the realization half way through that all those children are still alive to this day adds a horrific layer to an already horrific show.
