Not only "Symmetrical" but also "Cyclical"
20 December 2020
(modification of former review, please kindly change.)

Impressive!! This masterpiece contains not only "Symmetrical" but also "Circulation", in the point of view of Classical Music - 'cyclic music', for example Berlioz, Saint-Saëns, Frank and so on. As shown it, Classical music composers, Gustave(Gustav Mahler), Dmitri(Dmitrii Dmitrievich Shostakovich), Ludwig(Ludwig van Beethoven) and Wolf(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) appear Cyclically in this story. Are these conscious or not?

peaceful coexistence

Featuring a concert by the Leningrad Cowboys and the Alexandrov Ensemble, took place on 12 June 1993 at Senate Square in Helsinki, Finland. This event drew a crowd of approximately 70,000 people from two nations - Finland and Russia - that had been engaged in a state of "peaceful coexistence" during the Cold War, should recognize the reason why held so amicably.

c-sharp
28 June 2020
There are many movies we are able to listen to the beautiful music' on it, however it was the first time for me to feel the "musical structure" and let me hear the "sound" on this masterpiece. On the last scene, the last "sound" is "c-sharp", same as the last sound(code) of Gustav Mahler(1860-1911) Symphony No.5 1st movement, which is followed by drastic 2nd movement. I'm looking forward to feeling the 'drastic' future of Director Kiyohara on the next masterpiece.

On 28 June 1914... In 1273, Count Radbot's seventh generation descendant Rudolph of Habsburg became Roman-German King. On 11 November 1918, the last Habsburg ruler, Charles I of Austria issued a proclamation recognizing Austria's right to determine the future of the state and renouncing any role in state affairs.

philosophical

One of the most 'philosophical' movie that I've ever appreciated, in addition, music is so impressive that never get bored. However in World War I, it might be difficult for the people to understand the Griffith's real intention.

sophisticated 'English'
12 June 2020
This movie may not be a orthodox one, o/w we can enjoy the suspense and taste the Shakespeare's sophisticated 'English' adequately. In addition, the picture by Zeffirelli is so impressive.
