Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Dropped The Hammer
The MCU Thor is completely different from the comic book version. While the comic book version is a well respected, epic and powerful character the MCU version is the complete opposite. Kevin Feige has allowed Taika and Chris to run-a-muk with the character to the point where he is clearly being mocked. It is unfortunate because Thor could have been Marvel's Game of Thrones sans the f-bombs and sex scenes. Love & Thunder was difficult to watch. The ill timed, drag on, and eye rolling gags spoiled an epic story from the comics. It was also not necessary. Man of Steel reintroduced Superman without forcing the humor. As is the problem with the MCU, Kevin Feige needs to accept that not everything has to be funny.
Zombie with a Shotgun (2019)
Zombies!
Absolutely wild! Don't take it so seriously and have some fun with it.
Disruption (2019)
This movie disrupted my evening
Probably some of the worst screenplay and audio work I ever seen. A good idea that would have been better off with a slightly bigger studio.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
A Super letdown
Infinity War is so much better. This movie felt so forced, too many eye rolling gags and a confusing plot. The way Thor and Hulk were handled is criminal.
Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Mockery of a great character
I'll get to the point. Stick to the comics. The higher ups at Marvel have no idea how to handle a truly epic hero despite over 40 years of source material. Their answer? Let's make it funny! I've been reading Thor comics for 30 years. I absolutely hate the MCU Thor.
