Aftermath (2021)
Wow
Negatice reviews are correct.
Truly disappointing. Synopsis and preview bait you in with a haunted house/evil entity plot, but it delivers so so much lower.
It's revealed that a subteranean man, who was the lover of the houses original owner and designer is the one wreaking havoc in the main character's lives. Unoriginal, as this concept was used in another terrible movie "The Boy". BTW, his orign nor his lover's reasons for having an affair with a feral beast man is explained. It is mentioned briefly at his reveal but nothing further.
It had potential, as with most bad movies nowadays, but the writers didn't deliver. Also surprising that the director controlling these scenes was satisfied with the actors' work. All around bad film with unnecessary sub plots and major plot holes.
Capone (2020)
Movie about Demntia deterioration, Capone is just a puppet
While the film can be looked at as a scope into the lives of a person with dementia and their surrounding loved ones trying to deal with it, they didnt need Capone for that. The film is a all speculation of how his life was during this time. There really is no basis of fact and seems the writers took liberty in most aspects to tell a story of a guilt ridden man with a mental deterioration. The character of Al Capone is not really Al Capone but a symbol of dementia and what it can be like. I personally would have liked more fact behind the iconic character, such as real people referenced, events, etc. His wife, his brother, and his son seem to be the only real life people this movie seems to reference. Yes it is NOT a biopic, but it could have more fact than fiction for the sake of a real mans name and life. Some good scenes; unexpected scenes that keep the movie goer watching. Overall, the movie speculates, with some factual writing errors of time and people, giving the 4 stars only to entertainment value.
Ghost Adventures: Quarantine (2020)
Uh I think other reviews we're wrong...
Not sure what the other reviews are about but if you enjoy Ghost adventures the series, you will enjoy this mini series. Its all done in the Haunted Museum (which i have been to, and can attest to its creepiness and unnatural occurrences) excluding a couple scenes and its done without a production crew, only the 4 GAC guys Jay Billy Aaron and Zak. Billy is annoying as usual. Sorry not sorry.
Some great interviews and evidence when compared to a regular episode. Its dramatic, creepy, and entertaining. I would suggest it if you are a fan of the show. And i recommend traveling to Vegas to see the artifacts for yourself, it makes these episodes that much more interesting.
