The Empress (2022– )
6/10
Vaguely based on the real story
15 November 2022
The first thing the actress playing Elisabeth does NOT look 16. She's pretty but not drop dead gorgeous like Roma Schneider was in Sissi and she really was 16. The Emperor Waltz indeed was written for Emperor Franz Joseph...in 1889. NOT for his wedding to Elisabeth of Bavaria which was in 1854. And what's with the blonde pageboy hairdo sported by the spurned older sister Helene. And the weird modern dance routine. Wasn't the REAL story of Franz Joseph and Elisabeth interesting enough without these embellishments. And yet all the night scenes lit by torches and candlelight are period authentic and very hard to watch. I will probably continue watching because it's not bad just not great.

RFK Jr. Is a classic Byronic hero who speaks the truth about the horrendous damage done by the vaccine Pharma media government industrial complex at tremendous personal sacrifice. He was ostracized ridiculed and banned buy he kept speaking out and writing and his followers have grown and grown and others have joined his army of truth tellers also ostracized and banned Dr Robert Malone Dr Pierre Kory Dr Harvey Risch Dr Peter McCoullagh Dr Naomi Wolfe DR SIMONE GOLD and now the ship of truth is on course to destroy this narrative of safe and effective vaccines brought to you by the evil psycho "Dr." Mengele Fauci. Watch the history of Farma started by John D Rockefeller and his evil partner in our time Bill Gates striving to wipe out vast segments of the population through chemical experiments in humanity. This incredible documentary by Jeff Hayes as producer starring the above truth tellers will change the course of the last 2 years of gaslighting. Bravo.

So tedious
4 April 2022
This overly long totally dated piece of work was basically unwatchable. I kept trying fast forwarding but in the end the only thing that interested me was that Vivian Merchant was playing the perfect part as her husband Harold Pinter the author of this "masterpiece" was cheating on her IN REAL LIFE at the very same time she was playing a wife who was being cheated on. The faculty lounge the older professor young student thing is so predictable and of course a car crash to kill off the competition.

The Help (2011)
5/10
This movie would NEVER be made in 2021
14 March 2021
Even Viola Davis regrets performing in it. I'm white old and female and while there were some good "moments" the portrayal of the utter subservience of the maids however feisty is no longer acceptable. EVEN THOUGH the mostly one dimensional white wives are total monsters and their husbands personify white privilege. The sets and costumes were fabulous totally realistic right down to the sleeveless Lilly Pulitzer frocks. But it is no longer 2011 it is ultra woke 2021 where even a temporary half black princess can whine about racism.
