The Crown: Persona Non Grata (2023)
A very poor start to a very poor season
This episode is so boring. Where is the politics? Royal family dramas? There's nothing, just Elizabeth Debicki's boring Diana having fun. Absolutely nothing happens, beach scenes, on yachts, nothing interesting. The only thing they do in this episode is replicate the famous photos of Diana on the Fayed Yacht, nothing more, that's very boring, there are no real conflicts. The only interesting scene in this episode is the initial one where Diana's car crashes, the rest is ALL BORING. Peter Morgan, the screenwriter, has nothing new to tell, he goes around and writes empty dialogue, trying to fill the 40 pages of the script so that the episode lasts 50 miserable and boring minutes.
The Crown (2016)
It went from being the best Netflix series to boring crap in its last seasons
The Crown, for me, was one of the best original series on Netflix. Seasons 1 through 4 were perfect. However, the last two seasons were crap: a boring cast, mediocre scripts and in general each episode was worse than the last. It was not necessary to change the actors from season 4, with makeup they would have looked good.
This is unabashed pandering to the British royal family. The unforgivable part is that it's not even entertaining. In fact, it's horribly boring. How this show continues to garner Emmy nods is beyond me and is still not entirely fair to Diana. I'm glad it's ending as the charms of its first seasons have all but faded.
The Crown: Willsmania (2023)
Two words to define this episode: boring and propaganda in favor of Charles' big ear
From the silly episode title "Willsmania" I assumed it was going to be boring. Dominic West, in my opinion, is the worst possible casting, he is nothing like Charles in real life. After season 4, Peter Morgan seems to have regretted his portrayal of Josh O'Connor, and decided to write a new version. This Charles is not the Charles from seasons 3 and 4. This Charles seems written by Charles himself. William acts well, but is not up to par with other young actors like Josh O'Connor in seasons 3 and 4. The actor who plays the role of Philips leaves a lot to be desired, it is another result of the poor casting they did. I hated this season and each and every one of the main actors, they are nothing like the previous ones and make everything seem boring.
The Crown: Sleep, Dearie Sleep (2023)
this terrible ending is on par with a mediocre season
This episode is excessively long and boring. Now it looks like a parody of The Crown. The scene where Claire Foy appears made me laugh, it seems like a parody. A waste of time. These last two seasons 5 and 6 are bad, but season six is worse. Absolutely nothing interesting happens in this episode, just scenes of empty dialogue. It looks like this episode wasn't written by Peter Morgan. And the final scene, what nonsense, a sequence of cheap symbolism where we see the three actresses who played the Queen, as if this were a Marvel movie (the three Spider-Mans). Imelda Staunton, sadly, was the worst Queen ever. I think she got the worst scripts. Imelda is clearly a good actress, but The Crown was not up to par with her. I hated Dominic West as Carlos, he didn't fit in. In one scene, a young man dressed as the Queen appears and sings I Want to Break Free, a clear example that not even Peter Morgan is taking this very poor season seriously. ALL WRONG. A waste of time.
Hermana muerte (2023)
Good slow paced horror movie
From the trailer the film visually looked a little more like an independent film in the sense of having long shots and a fixed camera. I have to say that I liked it a lot, the atmosphere is well constructed, the actors do a good job and above all, as many here have said, it is better than The Nun. I haven't seen the movie Veronica, but after watching this movie I'm going to watch it. I, personally, had not seen a horror film so well constructed and so well crafted for a long time, I was left speechless. I like Spanish cinema, and this director has done it quite well. The photography, on the other hand, is spectacular, it should win the Goya award for best photography, I hope so.
The Witcher: Shaerrawedd (2023)
While series like Stranger Things increase their budget each season, The Wicher does the opposite.
It's a shame that a series as good as The Witcher became a series of the quality of the series of 20 episodes like The Flash. This first episode has absolutely nothing interesting to show. Everything looks low quality. It seems that Netflix instead of giving them more money is taking away from them. While series like Stranger Things increase their budget each season, The Wicher does the opposite. After this boring and low quality chapter, I have no interest in watching the new episodes that come out at the end of July. I have never seen a series visually worsen with each new season, all the series I have seen invest more money with each new season.
The Crown: The Way Ahead (2022)
This chapter seems to be written by Charles himself.
Total disappointment in this chapter. Why dedicate a chapter to Carlos's charity? In the previous 40 episodes that The Crown had, I never wanted to cut an episode like this episode did.
And that final scene of Charles dancing. I said what the hell happened here?
The worst mistake Peter Morgan (creator of the show) made was not ending this series this season. The episodes feel filler. The actors try their best, but the script doesn't help them.
This season was originally going to be the last, but the creator of the series changed his mind at the last minute and it shows.
Season 6 looks like it's not going to get any better.
Lucifer: Family Dinner (2021)
Already kill this series for a good time
This is probably the worst season yet (and the next)
The dialogues and the situations are superficial, the murder cases are increasingly ridiculous.
This second part is super slow and boring. Dramas are cheap and it's definitely not worth wasting your time watching this garbage.
Sabrina who was very bored is a thousand times better than this ridiculous season.
Little Women (2019)
It started well, but ...
The story was very slow, no character was able to convince me, Anne With An E, it is a series that does a better job.
The Queen's Gambit: Openings (2020)
Good start
It seemed very risky to dedicate an entire chapter to the childhood of the protagonist in the orphanage, but in general it was good in chapter. I finished it in just one day
Kally's Mashup (2017)
Cliché characters
All characters are a copy of other Latino youth shows such as Patito Feo, Suela Conmigo, Yo Soy Franky. Zero originality, in fact the story is practically the same as Violetta de Disney
Anne: The Better Feelings of My Heart (2019)
My problem with Anne With An E
I felt that these last two seasons, they were more dedicated to touching social issues over the plot. I loved season one, I consider it perfect. However, the new seasons are not the same.
Chica Vampiro (2013)
Good Colombian science fiction telenovela
The performances were good, although the special effects left a lot to be desired. Some chapters were filler and without any meaning. Other chapters were well done.
The Thundermans: Adventures in Supersitting (2013)
Genial capítulo
Predictable sometimes but generally entertainingUnlike the other NICKELODEON shows, this one is very well done.
