The Age of Adaline (2015)
Beautifully done
I really enjoyed this film. I thought Blake lively did a fantastic job and carried herself so elegantly. The story was beautiful and heartwarming. I appreciated the level of class that they gave each character. Half the time I expect to watch a movie waiting for there to be a main character do something horrible and completely stupid or unfaithful. This movie did not have that. It was pleasant to watch. Harrison Ford was the perfect person in that role. They gave people compassion and allowed characters to actually care about one another and not be so horribly selfish. They should be more films like this.
Virgin River (2019)
Ah, my Canadian home
As someone who lives in Eureka, it's really fun and quite hilarious when they mention different towns and places and pretend they're going there. The Redwood Coast is beautiful and the show is cute. I dig it. I think if you can be happy with the fact this is a hallmark type show then you will be fine. They take aspects from romantic movies and cater to the fantasy world people live in their heads when this is clearly not realistic. Who doesn't love that. However, let's be real about Humboldt. Stop name dropping garberville like it's cute. It's so gross and nasty. I drive through that town as fast as possible. And No one tracks an elk through big Lagoon. It's more like waiting for them to cross the road and you'll get in a lot of trouble if you touch them. I'm just relieved they didn't call the show murder Mountain two, the Romance of Virgin River.
Harry & Meghan: The Complete Story (2022)
Well done and articulate
It shows the gullibility of the people in this world when it comes to the media. I love how it calls out tabloids/all media. I don't understand why people hate them, but it shows how much people think they have a right to someone's personal lives. Especially women (pierce morgan included) we should build each other up, not judge and hate someone for what we don't have. I believe that if these were lies they would be called out by useless humans other than media and estranged jealous family. If you hate honesty and people just wanting to show the truth then maybe a soap opera is better for you.
Dexter: New Blood (2021)
Brilliantly done
They said goodbye to the character beautifully. I thought the season and finale were very poetic. I hope they don't do a spin-off. His son showed that he cared and was a good human. No need to make him evil.
So You Think You Can Dance (2005)
Season 17 killed the show
I have watched every season of the show and loved it. I don't know what the producers were trying to do getting rid of Nigel and Mary and other professional choreographers to judge, but this has been such a disaster. I couldn't even get past more than a few episodes. I really hope you guys get your act together, because the show is probably going to die after the 17th season. Revamping is not a thing. It sucks every time.
