Sister Death (2023)

Beautiful old style horror film

This movie is an old style horror which focuses more on the psychology than on cheap visuals to scare you. The setting is amazing the cinematography excellent and the actors played their role well. I liked it more than the Nun movies.

Director Plaza knows how to make viewers feel uncomfortable.

Of course it is not perfect but for a Friday night in Halloween period is a must. It is above average for Netflix standards.

If you love horrors and want something different than the modern ones give it a try and you won't regret it. Please note that it is a slow burn horror with some nice kills...!!!!

Warriors of Future (2022)

Turn off your brain and you will enjoy it!

Warriors of Future is a Hong Kong sci-fi film, released on Netflix. The story is very simple (don't except any depth or Oscar acting) as it relies on the CGI.

There are armour suits that look like Iron Man, various battle scenes with a giant plant, some zombie insects, and a few random robots.

In terms of CGI, it is quite impressive. The actions are pretty quick. Overall, it has all the elements of a sci-fi genre film with a bit of emotion here & there.

Towards the end, there is some massive struggle on a highway where robots are chasing down our heroes and it is really thrilling.

Overall It is a decent film for a one-time watch, if you are a fan of SCI-FI.

Troll (2022)

Descent Scandinavian folklore creature feature!

This is a great simple, fun, action-packed film. If you are into King Kong and Godzilla films then this movie is certainly for you!

Set in the European country Norway, people deals with an ancient monster from fairy tales that emerges in modern times. The movie's basic plot is how a team of a Paleontologist Nora Tidemann, Prime Minister's personal secretary Andreas, and an Army Captain Kris come together to stop the Troll from creating havoc.

The casting of troll is good. The characters are all likable but not particularly deep.

Overall, Troll is a decent monster, big, popcorn thriller, which ticks all the boxes related to the genre. The setting and the magnificent creature give extra points to the film!

Hellhole (2022)

Original horror

I have no words to describe what I just saw. I am a horror fan, I have watched many movies but trust me you have never seen an ending like this! The scenery, the acting, the atmosphere are all there. The effects are top notch!

I don't understand the rating as it is an original amazing movie, something that we rare see these days. It is slow at the beginning but it builds up to reach the climax!

I agree with the other reviewers that it is indeed one of the best horror of the year!

Of course watch it with the original language.

I recommend it for those who like cults, exorcism and the battle of evil vs God!

Loving Adults (2022)

Nice Danish Crime Thriller

Loving Adults based on a novel, is a crime cliffhanger with unpredictable and fascinating story about love, jealousy and sacrifice. Its all about suspense and dark twists in order to keep a failed marriage intact.

I won't say much more, other that it is worth a watch. The leading actress is amazing, she really is the start of the movie.

The production values are good. The cinematography is cold and beautiful as you can expect from the Scandinavian industry.

In general, Loving Adults is quite an entertaining thriller with enough twists and turns to keep the viewers in their seats. The ending feels a bit weak in comparison with the climax

Of course it has its flaws but overall is worth a watch!

Crazy zombie ride!!

It's the first time I am going to write a review without finishing a season of a series but this deserves it! If you are a zombie fan then stop reading and start watching! It is amazing it has everything you want - lots of action, gore, likable characters and hundreds of zombies..I don't want this season to finish! Well done Netflix bring more series like this!

Happiness (2021– )

Nice series but it felt too long.

Nice series with an original story on the zombie genre. The protagonist duo has chemistry , I liked them a lot. Also some other characters are acting really well! Unfortunately it does not have much action and focuses more on drama. One big negative is that although there were zombies all around I didn't see any real terror in the eyes of the people who were trying to survive..overall if you a zombie eater then give this a try!

Hellbound (2021– )

Original Story!

Another excellent and original k-drama series. The only negative I have found is that it's short! Hopefully there will be a second season as the ending of this season is the opening of a whole new era.!

Of course the negative reviews are for those that came here to find another squid game... If you liked Hellbound I recommend you "Sweet Home"

Beside the actors the film was not scary at all, cheap effects, not atmosphere at all. As for the ending...rubbish. To sum up avoid at all costs..especially if you like good horror films.

Stop the hate on this movie. I liked it cause I knew what I'm going to watch! Brainless movie with action on a bomber plane during WWII with a gremlin on it...! Nothing more, nothing less! BTW the soundtrack is amazing!

Space Sweepers (2021)

If you are in for space adventures then give it a try cause it's worth your time. Nice CGI, good acting, eye catching action. Btw I love droid Buds! Keep in mind that this movie never takes itself too seriously, so must you!

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Unfortunately the bad reviews are correct! It was shockingly bad for a superhero movie. The first WW was amazing but they manage to destroy her in just one movie. I gave 5 stars for the opening and for Gal Gadot!

It was shockingly bad. I have no words to explain how from the wonderful first wonder woman they released this movie.. I agree with all the reviewers that they were disappointed. I have hopes for a better third movie.

What an amazing show. I won't say much but I love how this show helps newer generations to know karate. This is what it's missing from our children so as to face life, discipline, self defense, values etc. Congrats to all the crew of this show and can't wait for season 4. Please stop reading reviews and start watching the show!!!!

Watch it if you like Monsters

I haven't seen the webtoon so can't compare them but I liked it a lot. Cool monsters, nice acting ( I cared for many characters), interesting story. What do you except more? It's all about monsters. You know what you going to watch, so if you like action, monsters, adrenaline go for it!!! Can't wait for season 2

Sadly It wasn't what I was expecting.Stupid characters, bad acting, horrible writing! Are these survivors of an apocalypse??? Please give me a break! Only the last episodes were good but it wasn't enough to save the season. Iris was a disaster, she was annoying me with her acting, decisions and everything! I was hoping one of the few zombies we saw to eat her but no.. Only Felix and Elton are interesting and I want to see more of them in the Walking dead universe.

Locke & Key (2020–2022)

I was expecting more from this Netflix Original show. The concept was very good with all the magic keys and their powers but it fell apart with the choices the cast made throughout the season..... It didn't help either the Pg13 cause I wanted to see more bad things from the demon... If there is a second season and if they fix some problems it has potential!

Give a chance to this film. It captures the realism of what would happened in a case of an outbreak in real life... and guess what is happening with coronavirus. Very tense and strong movie which I strongly recommend to prepare you of what will happen if everything goes out of control in a deadly virus...

I had to write a review for this film to warn other people who like horror films....

After reading comments here I thought to give it a try..... The film starts and after 10 minutes I just turned the TV off. I didn't want to lose any more time on this...

Its bad - simple as that!

Acting, Quality, Story etc are bad. I am wondering about the rating...5,7 really?

Deranged (2012)

Very Nice Movie

I like Asian movies and this one added to my list of favorites ones. Deranged has drama, horror, suspense everything blended nicely into 110 minutes. The acting is OK nothing spectacular but the story was strong.

Jae-hyuk is an ordinary man in his 40s. He works as a medical supplies salesman and is hassled by doctors all day. His brother Jae-pil is a detective that is not all that interested in public safety and spends most of his time moaning about the stock market. The discovery of a series of floating, gruesomely skeletal bodies around the country sparks hysteria.

I don't want to spoil something so the rest you will see it on your own. Give this a try and you wont regret it.

My vote is 8/10
