The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)

Overwhelming entertainment

Delirious, hilarious, shockingly amazing. Leo's performance is insane. It is impossible to even imagine a better performance. If DiCaprio and Scorsese are not getting the Oscars for The Wolf than this whole Oscar thing is a huge piece of pure cr*p. I don't know if the whole movie is entirely a true story, maybe they exaggerated for a fact, but that doesn't make it any less good. I have never been to a movie at the cinema where the whole audience was laughing that hard.

Bottom line, The Wolf of Wall Street is one of the best movies i have ever seen, the best performance for Leonardo DiCaprio, best collaboration between Leo and Martin Scorsese, the most hilarious movie i have ever seen and it's worth every minute of its 3 hours.

Midnight in Paris (2011)

Wonderful movie

I love this movie. For me it's a mix between the charming, old Paris, and the mind of an artist(writer). And Paris seems the perfect place to spark one's creativity. So many artists were inspired throughout history, by the magic of this place.

Another great part of movie is Gil's desire to live in past times, and again Paris is the perfect city for this too. The old but perfectly preserved buildings, the paved streets, and the whole atmosphere makes you feel like you're not in the present anymore.

I think his relationship with Inez is just a representation of his imagination and inspiration, which are trapped in the present and this is a drag for him, as a writer.

It's a lovely movie.

K-PAX (2001)

Interesting movie

Kevin Spacey has a very good performance in this movie, as he always does.

At the beginning, the story is quite interesting, and the level of knowledge about the K-Pax planet and universe that Prot possess almost made me believe that he actually came from that planet. I still don't get how did he know how to draw that solar system.

The movie becomes very dramatic as we discover Prot's true identity and his horrible past, and the tension is starting to increase as he announces that he is going to return to his home planet.

In conclusion, i think K-Pax is a good movie and is worth watching.
