The Closer: Dial M for Provenza (2008)
I knew the writers had it in them!
I loved this episode through and through. I've seen it several times over the years but this time on Lifetime, I watched it with my husband (his first time seeing it) and I just let go and let it make me LOL so many times. Nice to have some comic relief amid all the usual stories here. Jennifer Coolidge is a genius...and so were the writers and other actors. Even Brenda's mother - Willie Rae Johnson - managed to appear in this episode via a photograph. Murder is awful, of course, but...entertainment is entertainment, no matter the vehicle. I will watch this episode over and over. Thanks again Brenda etal.
Wedding Every Weekend (2020)
About that car...
I just finished watching Hallmark's "A Gift to Remember" (2017) with Peter Porte and Ali Liebert a/k/a "A Gift for Christmas" on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel.
I believe the car at the end - an old red/orange Plymouth Valiant - is the same car Nate restored for Brooke in this Hallmark movie, "Wedding Every Weekend".
No other particular comment here, except that I enjoyed both movies.
Just wondering if anyone else can validate my observation about the car? Hallmark seems to show "Wedding Every Weekend" at least once a month on the Hallmark Channel but the other movie, "A Gift to Remember/A Gift for Christmas" not so often. Thanks.
Open by Christmas (2021)
Quite a different Hallmark story
I'm not going to give anything away about this movie, except to say it flowed so naturally, not contrived. The lines were realistic and very conversational. They portrayed relatable human emotions and feelings and it was also very funny in parts. I loved the dialog. All of the actors were fabulous. I felt like a part of the families watching this movie. Lots of stories in this movie. Enjoy!
