Run Sweetheart Run (2020)
The weirdest, longest tampon commercial ever.
Run Sweetheart, Run had some decent moments, but boy did it talk about tampons a lot. I'm a woman, so I get it. Periods happen and they suck. Cherie, the protagonist, got her period. She mentioned multiple times how she needed tampons.
Anyway, the actress who played Cherie, played her part well. It was sweet when her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend had her back. It didn't end well for her, though.
When Cherie and Ethan were in the church, I was a little disappointed they didn't show what Ethan's true form was. The Father was awesome for saving her, though. I loved how the church had a secret passageway that lead to a club of some sort. Lol her outfit in the club made her look like a badass.
Smile (2022)
One of the better more recent horror films I've seen in a while.
First of all, the marketing strategy was awesome! Hiring people to just sit or stand in random places, and smile the whole time...if I saw that, I would be a little freaked out. It definitely had creepy moments. I don't scare easily, but this one got me a couple of times. The scene where Rose is at her sister's house, and her sister is outside of Rose's car, in particular. The actress who played Rose, did a phenomenal job in my opinion. Honestly, all of the actors and actresses played their characters well. Smile almost had an It Follows feel to it, only way better. I watched it at home on Paramount Plus. It would have been a fun one in theaters. I would watch this again.
Workin' Moms (2017)
LOVE LOVE LOVE this show!
I binge watch this show every time a new season premieres. Then I get sad because I have to wait for more to come out! Lol Honestly I could watch the show every day and not get bored of it. It's so good! The characters, the storyline, just everything about it is amazing. As a mother it's also very relatable.
The Emoji Movie (2017)
It's disappointing how underrated this movie is.
I feel like this movie had a good message for kids and well, everyone. I don't understand why it was so hated. My family and I were really hoping for a sequel. I think people need to give this another chance.
Dexter: New Blood (2021)
I was pleasantly surprised!
I have loved Dexter since day one, so when the show came to an end, like a true fan I was sad to see it go. As they say, "All good things must come to an end." When I initially heard about Dexter's return, I thought it was fake; fan made. I was so excited when I found out it was true! I sincerely enjoyed this new season. I won't leave any spoilers, but you should check it out yourself, if you haven't yet.
American Horror Stories (2021)
Unique and different. Some episodes are better than others.
Honestly, I liked the episodes about Murder House the best. I thought the Rabbit Rabbit episode was a unique concept, and liked to see Madison Bailey from OBX featured in it. The only episode I absolutely didn't like at all, was the Naughty List episode. I hoped it would get better, but it was pretty cringey.
I loved to see Billie Lourd in the Ba'al episode. She's one of my favorite actresses from the main show. Feral was messed up! I can't imagine losing my son in the woods, just to find him ten years later, and get eaten in front of him. Lol. I liked the last episode, too. It was cool to see a lot of characters from the OG show. I may be one of the odd ones out, but I like the concept of this show! I am a huge fan of AHS, and I love the uniqueness of both the OG show, and this. I really liked how the intros fit the episode, just like the normal seasons of AHS. I personally look forward to season two, and hope the episodes just get better. The creators are talented and of course, creative!
