Puff Piece at it's Worse
9 April 2022
Lacks objectivity. Written by the subject and doesn't address massive shortcomings as a player and more importantly as a teammate. Imagine Donald Trump putting out a documentary about himself, written by himself, directed by himself, etc. One of the greatest point guards in history? Not even close. Westbrook is a statistical freak when and only when he has the ball in his hands and is one of the most athletic individuals I've ever seen. His career numbers has more to do with his absurd physical tools and ego and less about pure talent. Westbrook is a serial stat collector, doesn't play well with others and in spite of his ability to pile on the stats is not an impact player. He is bad mojo, negatively affects team chemistry evident by his failed stints in LA, Washington, Houston, and OKC. Westbrook is selfish and self-aggrandizing as evident by this documentary and lacks accountability as a teammate and star. His self-praise is nauseating but expected. As self-promoting as The Last Dance was Michael Jordan has much more to show for his time on the court.
