El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
Great
This movie is almost Breaking Bad-esque in the way that the plot, characters, and setting are all very similar to the hit show 'Breaking Bad'. The characters in this movie and the show are eerily alike, from their names to their appearances (great casting, Sharon Bialy). How they managed to find a doppleganger for Skinny Pete still perplexes me to this day, because he has a very distinct look to him. Regardless, the utter geniuses behind this movie managed to pull it off. All of these factors culminate in my professional opinion that 'El Camino' is possibly a fan-made sequel to the original 5-season epic, 'Breaking Bad'. However, there was one fatal flaw that broke my immersion; the Todd look-alike was too pudgy! Nice try, 'Vince Gilligan', but the creator of Breaking Bad has a leg up on you as he would never make this mistake.
Law Abiding Citizen (2009)
Decent
Law Abiding Citizen featuring Denzel Washington as a lawyer was an absolute blast to sit through. I watched this one in theatres, and I remember thinking: "when will this movie end?" This is because at some points the plot was slower than my son running a 400m. However, I loved it. Decent!
Koneko monogatari (1986)
Decent
One of the greatest 'decent' films in my opinion, and I'll let you know why - Milo and Otis is a heart-wrenching AND heart-warming tale of inter-species love that some critics argue borders on the inappropriate, but it always manages to make you say "aww!" Take away the obvious animal abuse that took place while filming this and you've got a classic family favorite!
D-Tox (2002)
Decent
One of the earliest Among Us-type movies, D-Tox (colloquially known as Eye See You) is a trail blazer; casting Al Pacino as a crewmate and that other guy as the imposter is both contemporary and tasteful. Overall, a decent picture.
10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)
Decent
10 Cloverfield Lane is a respectable yet disappointing take on the apocalypse genre. They had Zack Galifinakis who does an awesome job at everything he does, but I couldn't help but feel like the main protagonist didn't appreciate everything he was doing for her. This made it hard to like her and I secretly hoped she died.
