Tourgasm (2006)
For old Dane fans
If you've been a fan of Dane cook fan for a while and remember when he hit his peak career point, you'll enjoy this. I've been a fan of Danes ever since I first heard one of his albums back in the early 2000's when I was a teenager. Now going back and watching this is awesome because if you really enjoy Dane you kinda get to see the going's on behind the scenes of how it was for him. It's also a huge trip down a nostialgic memory lane for any of us who were in the era. It's Dane going out living his dream and doing it with his buddy's. It's like an all out bro road trip and reminds me of road trips I took during that time with friends. Don't go into this expecting to see a ton of there sets it's a documentary not a stand up special. But it's great. I hope Danes career gets back to this point because I feel like he has so much more to offer us.
Lightyear (2022)
TO INFINITY ANNNNDDD..........well we hoped for beyond
Ugh as much as I hate to say what I have to say I can't say that I enjoyed this movie as much as I hoped. I understand this is supposed to be the origin of buzz lightyear but for those of us who grew up on toy story then the buzz lightyear series this just isn't good. It was entertaining but again we have another case of new people coming in and wanting to rewrite a character to what they want it to be after there is already a big established base line. There were after credits scenes too showing that there will be another movie but Disney. Can we please stop making everyone wait through all of the credits? Especially for a 5 second scene? My ending thoughts are I'm willing to see where it goes and how it is but I spent the whole movie waiting for buzz's suit to work the way it does in all the other movies and tv show, Zurg ended up being a massive let down, and the whole time travel thing was dumb. I get they needed that to make this version of the story work, but it was dumb. I hope this gets better as they make more.
The Batman (2022)
Worst Batman ever
This has to be the worst batman ever. Yes batman should be dark and Depressed. Yes his villain's should be ruthless, But That's all they slightly got correct. First of all Pattinson does a terrible Bruce Wayne. Yes Bruce should be sad when he's home but i got tired of the emo twilight vibes and the constant have his hair in front of his face and acting like he's in some punk emo music video from 2009. Secondly all of batman's gadgets and vehicles looked like some hacked together piece of garbage some kid put together in his parents garage. He is supposed to secretly utilize Wayne Enterprises which is barely even mentioned in the movie at all. His detective skills are ok but it never really seems like hes putting much effort into anything it seems like he's more worried about acting depressed and emo then he is about figuring stuff out. Also the movie is so long that by the end of it I felt like I was watching a transformers movie and just when you think you're near the end another person gets hurt or another build blows up or some crazy thing happens .he also is not that great at hiding in the shadows as batman and observing. Half the time when he does he's in jeans and a big hoodie with a scarf and baseball cap hiding his face. I know he used disguises and such in the comics and other movies but this is just annoying. Learn to hide in your batsuit and then once he was in it he would just come out and run at people head on and not try to avoid gun fire or any other weapon. Batman always has known how to fight from the shadows, this one did not. I'm highly disappointed as a massive batman fan and if you enjoy this movie you're prolly someone who is there cause you're a twilight fan and you want a artsy more in touch with his inner sadness batman then you actually want BATMAN. Christopher Nolan did it correctly with his movies. This is just a pure insult to batman and who he is as a super hero. Pattinson, stick to being a depressed whiny vampire don't bring it to the big screen as Batman it doesn't work.
Ender's Game (2013)
Big build up for a wasted ending
I never read the books so I didn't know anything going into this movie about the story. However there is this massive build up through the whole movie of this kid being this amazing warrior and then they waste the ending by tricking him and his friends into doing what they think is a video game and they're actually commanding the fleet. And you can kind of see it coming when it happens. And it's so anticlimactic and you feel like you wasted your time. It honestly felt like they were building to something bigger and they ran out of money so the just said this ending will work. Literally feel like I wasted time.
