The Walking Dead: The Rotten Core (2022)
Episode OK
Ok, I have been watching this show for YEARS. Like most people I like the weekly escape from my own life and have always found the characters relatable. Recent years the show has been doing these things that make trying to get into the show and enjoying it.
- Trying to create TO MANY sub plots I feel like I need to start tracking them on a white board.
- The EXCLUSIVE looks are absolutely torturous why do I spend Extra money to be tortured? I am really considering ending it just because of them, I would rather endure to COMMERCIALS than these. What does that say? They ad no value and are just to feed the show runners EGO.
- There is WAY too many "what was the point" plots and sub plots I guess that goes with the why I feel the need to start a white board.
- So many great performers on the show you tend to get attached to certain ones and relate to certain stories ex Negan is now married! That seems like a more interesting story than the love story Eugene, that's not I don't like Eugene it was a boring, dragged out storyline that STILL isn't going anywhere.
- Back in earlier seasons the elements of survival and "lord of the flies" aspect of developing new politics was fascinating to watch. Some how now it's like watching a Soap Opera version CSPAN.
If the spin off shows hope for ANY type of success there needs to be much more invested in writing and story line development. I did try and watch Fear of the walking dead but I truly could not watch it for similar reasons the things I listed above.
The Walking Dead: The Lucky Ones (2022)
WAY to dragged out
The performances are great, it's just one non engaging storyline after another. And the 10+ minutes of exclusive commentary is even far less interesting.
The Walking Dead: Rogue Element (2022)
Why?
Great performances in a pointless episode, with zombies roaming the country side and the politics of the commonwealth Messing with Eugene in this way is just an unbelievable story arc and the commonwealth story line has been WAY to drawn out. I can honestly say this may be the last walking dead I watch. Show runners and writers REALLY should have reviewed walking dead's beginnings before creating this final season is Eugene going to be the one to jump the shark?
American Dad!: The Unbrave One (2012)
Jeff's Hat
Never noticed Jeff making cereal in his hat before, is seeping threw on the floor. Probably because Jeff asking father and brother if they want to tag is funny and cringe worthy. So many funny bits in this episode, glitter and McCain, head butting the stomach, sully being called out by the girl, Greg fencing and terry dressed for scuba diving.
American Dad!: A Jones for a Smith (2010)
Officer figpucker
This episode makes solid social and political statements while still being hysterical. The crack commercial alone is comedic gold. Social programs are important and everyone does need help from time to time no one makes a plan to be addicted to things like crack. The obstacle course, Steve's love interest, Francine looking for the TV insides, all hysterical.
American Dad!: The Scarlet Getter (2011)
Benny Hill
Of all the the recycled bits on American Benny Hill bits should be atleast once a season. For those who don't know the music reassembling Roger that was Benny Hill music playing and they were doing Benny slap stick comedy.
American Dad!: Shakedown Steve (2021)
Good One
Jeff and Steve on Shakedown street, cheese brothers need to tour more.
American Dad!: Klaus and Rogu in Thank God for Loose Rocks: An American Dad! Adventure (2021)
million dollar idea
Instead of putting effort into unfunny characters like Billy and Rogu.
Put Klaus into Terries body, have Greg turn into the Man from 50 shades of grey. Klaus begins to like it and becomes Greg's bottom. It would bring back the humor of the gay couple/news team across the street and bring to an end the tired gold fish bit.
This episode made me appreciate Better American Dads.
American Dad!: Flavortown (2019)
So much potential
This episode you kept waiting for the belly laugh that never came.
American Dad!: Family Plan (2017)
Could have been better
Most all things in Seth McFarland universe don't follow a solid line of continuity. This episode just seemed off, it could have been ALLOT funnier. Roger as cat, Stan trying to be a picker. Great starts but the half assed written jokes in execution didn't work all that great.
