The Northman (2022)
Just tell a normal story
Why? Why make such a strange poorly told movie? All they had to do was make a 'normal' movie with a decent script and they would have had a massive hit on their hands. After the success of the Tv show Vikings a movie in the same genre would have been fantastic, but it wasn't to be. Instead we got this incoherent dribble. A 137 minute waste of time.
Uncharted (2022)
No depth
Uncharted has the bones of a good story and a wonderful ensemble cast, but that's where the positives end. There is little to no character depth which makes it hard to believe the relationships that are eluded to. There's very little set up to the story, everything seems very rushed. Easy entertainment but a blockbuster is ain't.
Shane (2022)
It was Ok
I'm guessing Shane had a lot of input into this doco as it skims over the trials of his career and speaks to his tribulations in great length. Some strange choices of character references (Ray Martin?) but otherwise a pretty good insight into the rise and rise of one Shane Keith Warne.
