Blackmail (2005)
Not a typical American film. Good!
The opening scene made me think I was in a karoke bar and my partner immediately left the room at that point. What made me enjoy this film was mostly about what it wasn't. It had no gratuitous sex scenes, the kid spoke correctly, didn't mumble and wanted to be a race car driver when he grew up, and not a gangster or pimp. It had a mixture of traditional Indian dress and high end western clothing. The flying through the air when shooting was typical but no bloody chest wounds went along with this. Nobody even got hurt when they were pummeling each other's face. Guess I'm just tired of run of the mill American action genre films.
Switch Hitters II: Swinging Both Ways (1987)
Base ball players having fun outside the diamond.
As I've mentioned before, Nina is a UGA prepared nurse. In this film, she looks like a prep nurse as she's getting the bed partners comfortable in her stilettos and not else. She has the prettiest south-side in film, no? Half the male actors are no-count, butt Nina is the attraction. Mike Horner needs to get out of his clothes as he's not as much an actor as he is a performer. The main reason I did not rate this film higher was that I felt the desired character was made to perform through collusion and not on his own volition. Sexual perversion ought be embraced, not forced upon. A for sure rental, maybe not a purchase.
Insatiable II (1984)
Juliet Anderson's Unique Style
This film is made up of scenes from, I suppose, Insatiable I, perhaps? The scenes with Juliet Anderson are the best, however. Her interest with same sex pleasure is perhaps genetically brought on, as her two daughters have a go at one another in which we see was not their first tryst. Her artful curiosity and Marilyn's wanton pursuit make for some hot scenes. Actual dialog and authentic guttural moanings are a plus and now almost entirely absent. A funny scene in which we see the two sisters beginning to get aroused with one another in the kitchen and spy see a box of Ivory Soap on the counter beside them. Nice point of reference, no?
Little Bit o' Honey (1987)
Nina makes any flick watchable...
Nina Hartley could easily transition to any celluloid medium she was attracted to, but when you champion a cause, you stand your ground. As a UGA prepared R.N., Nina was thoroughly at ease in this silly farce. The x-dressing orderly was out of place as was Betty Boobs. Viper is always interesting to see but Tom Byron should've shaved his post-pubiscent "mustache". Not the best Nina film, but worth renting.
