Como Nascem os Anjos (1996)
Como nascem os anjos
It's a fantastic film about real life in Rio de Janeiro/Brasil. It's not a fiction film and you should see it to learn more about the hard life without money and security. I think you don't want to stop the film, it's so impressive.
Como nascem os anjos is a film produced in Brazil with new actors, no stars. It's a story about two children's life on the street without parents. Differents situations happen with them, for example violence, frights and good relationships. These relationships allow the life to go on.
I liked it so much and I wish you enjoy a lot with this film.
My Life Without Me (2003)
This film is about young's women, who has her death near.
It's a sentimental film, you can cry a lot, and suffer, but at the end of the film, you feel calm. This film speak about the life, feelings,...She has accepted her death and tries to resolve all the things around her. The script is good, and interesting. The film is located in a suburb. But this is not a problem for them. There are six actors , and the rest are supporting actors. Is a personal film, you can feel at the same time happy and sad feelings, contrasts come together. The silence is around, and the human voices are the only sound for the majority of the film. You can to get into the character of the women since the doctor says she that she is ill. If you don't like feeling this type of emotions, to see this film can't be a good idea.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Good will defeat Evil completely as the film of 'The Lord of the Rings' soon.
The Lord of the Ring is a film based on the traditional legend of Scotland. This film begins when someone finds a ring under the lake and they struggle to keep the rings from each other. After all, a main actor 'Frodo' gets the ring and manages to fine the Volcano to destroy the Ring which symbols Evil with his friend and Smigol. On the way to the Volcano Mountain, they meet a number of Enemies, they have to defeat them. There are many fascinating battle scenes during the film all the time. I couldn't help moving my sight from that picture that take place between Evil and Good. Finally, Frodo arrives at the Volcano and throws the ring into the Volcano. As soon as the ring was melted by the lava, all Enemies disappeared. So he can return to his hometown and recover the peace.
L'auberge espagnole (2002)
Studying abroad...
This film is a lot of fun and is a good portrait of young people living together in a new city.
Other users have argued that there are too many clichés in it, such as the stereotypes of each character from different European countries. This may be true but it does manage to give the lead, Xavier, some depth.
It is a film about learning to live side by side with people from different cultures. Although the story is not very developed, the general feeling that it gives is positive.
I would recommend this film to anyone thinking of going to study in a foreign country.
