The Legend of Vox Machina (2022– )

DND content needed this!

First: I am an huge critter from Germany! Normally i dont watch animated series, but with Arcane and OF COURSE The Legend of Vox Machina i am making some exceptions!

IF there would be no Arcane, i would give this show an 10/10, but even as a fan i have to be realistic and an 9/10 is still STELLAR!

The voiceacting is of course the best in the business, the animations are great and i know most of the story, so i know HOW AWESOME it will be.

Especially the character arcs will be one of many reasons to love this show for fantasy and animated series fans.

This show is what DND needed, forget these Boll movies or something like that, this is the new milestone for fantasy series with an classical DND setting. Violence, blood, dirty jokes, swear words and not holding back with "adult stuff"! This is not for kids and that is exactly what i wanted!

I hope a lot of people outside this bubble give it a shot, it is really an really good series and the idea behind all of this are people that dont have profit in their mind, they really CARE and LOVE DND and the story/characters they have created over the years! Enjoy it!

The Witcher (2019– )

Really good series, i was a little bit worried after the first season, because some monsters, effects or costumes were a little bit weird! You can CLEARLY see the new budget on Season 2 and that they have a new special effects and animation team now! The story, characters, music, scenery was all there, i saw a lot of potential and in my opinion they released it in season 2!

Especially Episode 1 is outstanding! One of the best openers of any series or seasons... You can clearly see that Henry is EMBRACING this character, he does such an amazing job, same goes for Freya (first season was ok, now she was brilliant), Anya as Yennefer (i was really sceptical, now i adore her as Yenn) and Joey as Jaskier. If you like fantasy, mystery, monsters and some beautiful places this is your show!

Arcane (2021– )

Where to start? This series left me speechless... I hate the game, because of many reasons, i did not know the lore, last time i played LOL is YEARS ago, but i liked Jinx and the animations looked fantastic in the trailer. I was not prepared, NEVER EVER have i even had the glimpse of an idea that this story, these characters and the overall worldbuilding would be so MASSIVE! I cried, i laughed, i was stunned, my stomach felt weird, my heart was pumping and all of this because of animated characters!? That was the first time i felt so much emotion for animated characters OUTSIDE an really REALLY well written videogame. Normally it had to be a real actor in series and movies to empathize with the characters they play.

The visual is just next level, but what really stood out for me was the story! Especially "the villain" is SO WELL MADE! On one hand you hate him, but on the other hand you understand it and you also feel his struggle, love and hatred... But it does not stop there, every single character is SO well written, it blew my mind! What a FANTASTIC series, i cannot wait for more!

This series is in my personal TOP 5! There was nothing i could complain about even the soundtrack and how they are the setting the mood with it is brilliant!
