1UP (2022)
1/10
Unbelievably inept, boring and annoying.
10 July 2022
Going into this film I did not expect much. The reason I has so little-expectations for the film was primarily due to the 1.9 IMDb score which, I must admit, I know is probably (at least slightly) review-bombed. Nonetheless, I still gave it a shot. Initially there was nothing particularly terrible. Of course the cinematography and production design were... poor... but It was at least mildly interesting. Then 1UP revealed what it truly was! CRAP! The character dynamics between the two leads; Sloane and Lee were un-interesting and trivial at best. The acting from both actress' is also shockingly under-developed and thought out. However, the script is so poor that I bet no A-list actor could've given a real shot at it, so perhaps the actress' do have talents that just aren't represented here. The supporting cast and there characters are akin to a troupe of stereotypes you may have found in a 90s DTV Bottom-of-the-dollar-bin teen attempted-comedy. There are extended periods where the groups are playing each-other and these parts are excruciatingly boring. I can't continue this review without pointing out two of the most annoying characters I have had the insincere opportunity of watching. Lilly played by Madison Baines and Diane played by D. J. Mausner. Both characters are equally annoying in their own rights but the worst of the two is by-far Lilly. Lilly is the 'weird, quirky' friend in the main group and her whole character is based around this. More one-dimensional than the perfect line. And Diane is the gross chick in the group. But I hope to never see that damn lilly actress 'Madison Baines' in anyhting ever again!!! Terrible film. May provide inspiration to like two people. That's it. To the other 100,000. Pure Pain. PURE TORTURE!

La Brea: Pilot (2021)
Season 1, Episode 1
3/10
Pretty bad introduction to the show!
8 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The Pilot for La Brea does not do the series any justice. As in my opinion, La Brea grows to become a relatively good show. The pilot crams way too much into its first episode, it also creates too many characters and too many variables and problems/sub-plots. It also starts the story-line where Josh's leg is bitten. This specific sub-plot I despised and found it extremely weak, boring and un-enticing. The effects are also really poor for a show with a $60-70 Million Dollar budget!

In Conclusion, this is a terrible start to a show that I would later grow to like and enjoy. This episode turned me off from watching new episodes for a while. I just urge you to continue and not make the same mistake I did. Believe me, It gets better! In saying that, the CGI stays crap for the entirety of the show.

YES! The Amy, Levi and Ned story-line is ending!
23 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So.. Ned has broken up with the Amy. Yay! Anyway. This episode is kind of interesting because I see the potential for a good character-arch with that little brat Zara. Lets see where that leads.

Way too under-rated

The butterfly effect is a suprisingly entertaining film. It also deals with many different issues such as depression. The story keeps you at the end of your seat to the very end. Outside of some really small issues with how the actual butterfly effect works the film is practically perfect! People need to watch this!

2gether (2000 TV Movie)

Fun little TV Movie!
8 January 2022
2gether is a fun little flick about an up-and-coming boyband and their hurdles on the way to stardom. The film may not excel in the writing or acting department but the interesting premise helps the film become something new! I also like the 2000s asthetic that the film has, I get nostalgia when I see / watch films from the early 2000s and this film definitely gave me nostalgia!
