The Backyardigans (2004–2013)

My review of the backyardigans

This entire show is whole childhood and if there's nothing that I like more than both dinosaurs and Star Wars it's this. The show is about 5 friends named Pablo a blue penguin Tyrone a orange moose unique a pink lady bug Tasha a yellow hippo and Austin a purple kangaroo. The 5 friends go on adventures on each and every episode and go to and have quite the imagination and can turn their backyard into anything they want for example they can turn it into from a jungle to a desert, from an ocean to futuristic city, they can even turn their backyard into space it's self. The animation is one of many reasons I like the show with examples being the coral reefs witch just have so much colour in them and them selfs also great and side characters like robot roscoe, dragon, Sherman the woman, the workman's, rover, marchians and many other fun characters as well. Another thing that I like is their houses and their parents in witch their parents are only mentioned and we get quick clips of what their houses look like when they come out and in at the beginning and ending of each and every episode adding some mystery to the show and meaning we're free to guess what their parents and houses look like. Like I said earlier this is my favourite and my child hood witch is why I love over and all this my review of my favouret show ever bie.

Animal Face Off (2004– )

Well I do like seeing the animal battles being cgi and the machines they use I do sometimes feel like that they are choosing the wrong to the winner like in jaguar vs anaconda the anaconda actually kills the jaguar when in reality the jaguar would have won. I'm not saying the anaconda couldn't beat the jaguar because I know it can, what I'm really saying is that the anaconda would have a tuff time facing the jaguar because the jaguar would be strong and is an ambush predator and they prey on just about everything they come across, so it's more likely that the jaguar would win the fight. Also in other like croc vs lion or cougar vs wolf both the lion and wolf are fighting on there own instead of packs while to be fare I do know they did this to make the fight more fare this isn't what would happen in real life. Another thing that I noticed is that the lion in croc vs lion is a male and they do say that the animal the male lion is eating is his own kill but in real life the male lion actually doesn't do the hunting and instead it is the females that do the hunting meanwhile the males mostly lay down and when there not defending his territory from other male lions that is. Also I don't think that the walrus would stab the polar bear with its tusks while it is in water with as the polar isn't as fast as the walrus is when under water and the leave the walrus alone if it was in water and the walrus would have the time to make its escape but I'm just guessing with that one as I do know that walruses are very territorial but the bear wouldn't follow the walrus under water no matter how fast it is so the walrus just leave the bear alone. Although I do like the creatures designs alot about the show is very inaccurate so I give this a rating of 6 and that's pretty much it so that's the end of my review of animal face off.

Alien Planet (2004 TV Movie)

Alien planet review.

The documentary is based off of a novel called expedition and two probes from earth are sent by the von Braun to search for alien life. Alien planet is a really good documentary in my opinion and I'm sure others as well. The two probes also come equipped with mini probes like the spider probe witch can crawl into spots too small or dangerous for the two probes as well as speedy disk like probes that can fly and are called camera disks, the probes also come equipped with water ballon like that monitor the weather. The creatures too are quite fascinating like the daggerest witch lives on trees and hunt for their prey the trunk sucker witch is cool in my opinion, the daggerest uses its claws to pin its prey down in witch it falls to ground and the daggerest comes down and uses a third claw attached to it's chest in witch it sucks up all the tree sap that the trunk sucker sucked up earlier on the tree, ones the daggerest sucks up all the tree sap from the trunk sucker it then leaves to find new prey in the tree tops leaving it's prey dead on the floor. Another interesting creature is the gyro sprinter a fast two legged animal that runs from predators like the arrow tongue at Rex sized carnivore. Over and all the documentary is a really good impression of the book people who read the book first will probably be amazed seeing the creatures moving. I my self give it a good rating of 8 and I highly suggest you check it out.
