What a saliste of time
24 February 2024
Over AND over AND over again we ser her paliyng the same character. A fried AND bitter perdón with problems to give her opinión to the rest of the characters. Why she has to so the same thing? One Time it could be funny but always... No. This movie Is puré crap. There's no comedy timing. The story Is good but the screenplay pretty bad. The director Is also pretty bad. Brad Pitt doest it wonderfully AND also Daniel Radcliffe. But this Is not their movie. Sandra Bullock's acting i wodden AND Chaning Tatum act like he Is paying two different people. One in the first half, other in the last half. Don't lose your time.

Nice girl - bad boy
19 July 2023
Veronica Cartwright is always a must to have. Even she had a small rol as Roween's mother that look at the end is prefection. She doesn't need to say a word. A great actress!!! The rest of the cast was credible in a story we saw many times. A nice girl playing to love the very wrong guy. I didn't like too much the play betwwen Danny Pino and the mai character. It took the attention to the main story. His character was kinda stupid considering his age.

Sometimes I wonder why I have to write that much knowing that others reviews has just a few lines. I apologized . Careful wet floor and many others.

This is aaaallll baaaaaad

Elsa Pataky plays a badass cap. Who tries to save US from a nuclear ending planned for a pretty bad actor from Australia. He is so weak as villain that he looks kinda a-hole. The bad are not that bad and the good are the stereotype in every hero movie. The script is pretty stupid. The actor who play the goverment characters have no conviction. They play as a SNL sketch. The music was robbed from Aliens. These the more pathetic silly movie I saw in a while.

Just a well done copy
11 December 2021
I though it was going to be an adaption to modern times, but it looks it was a big effort to redone what was perfect at its time. The first half of the movie was boring. I though I was watching tv when I was a kid. Maybe Spielberg thought about every detail but, did he think that it would like to a new generation? Really? Why to copy with a better technology? What's the point? No substance in this movie. The second half was better but not enough to take me out of boredom. Rachael Zegler has an exquisite voice but her acting was average. Ansel Elgort is still in Baby Driver. By far Ariana Debose is the best of the movie meanwhile David Alvarez, Rita Moreno and Josh Andres Rivera deliver a good performance. I have to say I wouldn't watch this movie again.

A waste of time

It's twisted, so twisted. The acting is almost so bad as the direction. A bad script and a final you can see in every bad horror movie since the 80's I have nothing nice to say about this film

Veronica Cartwright is amazing, but she is the only this short has. Too simple, predictable, not well developed.. She is very resourceable actress. She created the atmosphere of the film. The guys were ok:(

Love and revenge
5 August 2014
Sometimes we think that we can do anything for love, but when it is not given back in the same way we are able to take desperate measures. That's the case of Waldo, who thought that Joaquin was going to stay with him, even after Joaquin's wife came back. In desperation Waldo disappeared from the village full of pain and angry He thought he was doing right, but he didn't knew. After Waldo's disappearance Joaquin decided to follow his track. Soon he discover with horror what the destiny had for both of them. Polo Ravales as Joaquin, delivers a solid and believable performance. His Joaquin goes for the streets, looking for his lost love. Joseph Bitangcol gave us an annoying demanding teen who push Joaquin to the limits to have him back. Emilio Garcia close the triangle representing the use and abuse as a manipulator cop. Love and desperation were well represented in the whole movie and were palpable. It is a good movie to see if you can handle it

There's no Maleficent without Angelina
8 June 2014
I must have to say that I though t the movie would be another 3D movie, but I came back home delighted by it. Since Angelina appears, nothing else and none else matters. She is beautiful, magnetic, evil (but no so much ), lovely, kind. This is a different story well written and well made. Ell Fanning is fine, she plays the nice girl, and Imelda Stauton always delivers a good performance. The effects are good, but at the end are not so important as how Angelina gave life to this character. This is a well payed ticket and I highly recommend the movie for the family.

Unexpected ending ... but not in a good way
10 September 2012
In the movies, the idea of crossing spirits or visions between two people that are experiencing death is not new, but sometimes is effective like in this case. it looks like the main characters are well defined and this is not cause the script. It happens because the acting is good enough. The problem begins when a good idea have not a good development and the ending it is not well justified. Even till close to the end you can think you are watching an average movie and that it was not a waist of time. But when the justifications of almost everything you suspected are shown just with images, if you were awake, you realize that there are loose ends and that makes you feel you saw a crappy movie. The idea is good but it is not well finished. Natalie Zea is correct in her role as well as Sean Patrick Flanery. It is always a pleasure to see Veronica Cartwright's acting but her role is small. If you don't have anything else to do, look for something better than this movie.

Just amazing
5 August 2012
This is not a concert, it's THE SHOW. I saw the show in Buenos Aires and even it was great , it was not the same, because the stage and the stadium were smaller, and I'm sure was difficult to recreate this masterpiece. The show was beautifully created and directed. It is flawless. No mistake was made. You can see they though in every single detail. Lights, make up, custome design, set design, everything was brilliant. Kylie was superb... Nowadays, were some singers do playback, Kylie offers great vocals, and a well thinked complementary choreography. Kylie is brilliant flirting with the audience where at the same time she shows how strong her performance could be. The band and the dancers gave a convincing performance but at the end , just because the way she is, Kylie shines.

An unexciting sequel
2 April 2012
When you go to see a big budget movie plenty of good actors, the less you expect is to see this awful idiotic movie. First of all, someone should tell Sam Worthington he needs to speak with neutral accent. It is not a Mad Max Sequel. Agenor character looks like a Rastafarian that escaped from a Pirate movie. Looks like this movie was made for a different kind of public than the first one. The characters are not well developed and it is impossible to feel empathy for any of them. Rosamund Pike deserves better. The rest of the cast don't deliver anything to remember. If we add that the movie doesn't worth 3D effects there is nothing left.

200 American? Give me my money back.
15 March 2012
This comedy has less rhythm than a porn movie, even if the story looks taken from there. The mix between Pretty Woman and a Soap Opera makes it quite bearable. Edition is almost so bad as the acting. Just a few moments between Ian and Michael are believable. The low music budget doesn't help, because it makes the movie looks like the porn action is going to start in every minute but it never comes. The funniest scene is where the stuck ladies in the elevator decide to stop all the noisy conversation between Conrad and Martin, and this scene last just a few minutes in the whole movie. If you have 200 American, just spend the money in some other place.

A painful documentary to see
14 December 2011
This documentary is pretty painful to see. It is hard to believe how long took to the UN to create an International Court to judge the genocide from the killing in Ruanda on 1994. The movie tells the story of the Argentinean judge Ines Weimberg de Roca and how the court started to investigate the genocide. At the beginning, not too much is said about Ruanda, but later it becomes more and more interesting. Plenty of interviews to the survivors, accused, lawyers and the judge Weimberg de Roca it is possible to follow how the facts were. Director Vanessa Ragone did a good work showing in this short documentary the mixed feelings from a broken society.
