Jujutsu Kaisen: Transformation - Part 2 (2023)
NICE FIGHTO BOY!!!!!
To be honest, the best way for me to describe this episode is Solid with moments of greatness. The whole fight between Geto and the Jujutsu high sorcerers was good, but the standout was Choso running the hands with Geto. The whole sequence was amazing. Mappa has been extremely consistent this season when comes to hand to hand combat. The rest of the episode also looked pretty good, as usual. But the clear standout of the episode is of course Mommy Yuki Tsukumo. Her entrance had me jumping out of my chair in hype. Probably one of my favorite female characters in anime and definitely my favorite female character in JJK. Overall, a good episode.

"I am you"
Perfect. The perfect JJK Episode.
And yet again, JJK tops itself again, making this the best episode of JJK thus far. The Action? 10/10. Animation? 10/10. Music? 10/10. This Episode had me hooked from the first second to the last. While I was conflicted on weither to give the previous episode a 10/10, due to the Miwa scene being somewhat out of place, I had no trouble on deciding what rating to give this episode. This episode was perfection. Mahito is debatably the best villain in the anime so far. Yes, Sukuna is cooler, but as a villain, Mahito was much more hateable, and in my opinion, hurt Yuji more than Sukuna did, so far at least. Now about the Episode. This Episode had so many amazing moments. Mahito's domain was absolutely thrilling. The whole Todo and Takada sequence came out of nowhere and it was so brilliant. And the one on one between Yuji and Mahito was so epic, I couldn't stand still. That final black flash, felt straight out MHA season 3 episode 11 and it was jaw-droppingly beautiful and satisfying. And of course... the final sequence... "I'm you", Yuji said, as he chased down Mahito. In my opinion, the best scene in the show. I am not surprised that they didn't play Skyfall, no way were they gonna get the rights to that song, but no music also fit extremely well. Overall, this is the best episode in Jujutsu Kaisen so far and will stay that way for a while I believe.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Right and Wrong - Part 3 (2023)
120% Potential...
This... this was probably, besides the Sukuna vs Jogo Episode, my most anticipated Episode. Yuji is probably my favorite JJK character, just because of how much more relatable he feels compared to other fan favorites like Gojo or Toji (although I also really like them as well as characters) and seeing him break down at the beginning of the episode... hurt... but when Todo arrived I swear I jumped out of my seat yelling in hype. The whole fight sequence was perfect. And that manga Panel... they adapted it prefectly... I'm not really sure how I feel about the Miwa scene... it was well done but it felt out of place, but besides that, the episode was perfect. And big props to Yuji's and Mahito's voice actors. I swear if anyone says "Mappa fumbled" I'm gonna lose it. See ya next week. Where you go I go...
Jujutsu Kaisen: Right and Wrong - Part 2 (2023)
I hate this show
Why... why...
Before I get into this, let me just say how great JJK Season 2 has been. Literally every episode had stellar animation, the stand-outs being episode 16 and 17. I think that anyone who says that season 1 had better animation than season 2 is just straight up delusional. The Mappa workers are some artists and deserve way better than what they're currently dealing with. It's disgusting to have people work under such conditions and definitely shouldn't be allowed.
Anyway, onto the episode. We get a little of Yuji beating up Mahito, which will always be satisfying, but the main star of the episode is of course Nobara Kugisaki. The moment Nobara and Yuji saw each other, I knew that THE scene was coming and it still hurt. Yuji's scream, Nobara's silence. After Nobara gets touched, we get the flashbacks, which gives us some time to breathe. The flashbacks were handled great by the way. After we cut back to present time, and Nobara's says her final words, we see as part of her head basically pops. The fact that there was no music, no slow-mo, no dramatic scream from Yuji, just silence as Nobara falls to the floor, made it so much worse but also so much better. Yuji utters her name one last time before we get hit with the ending theme. That broke me. It actually left me so shocked and empty and I hate it. I hate this show and what it keeps doing every episode. But I can't deny that it's currently the best show that's streaming as of now.
RIP Nobara.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Thunderclap - Part 2 (2023)
Better than Jogo vs Sukuna
I can't believe it. I actually can't believe it. Mappa somehow managed to top their previous episode "Thunderclap" which in my opinion was the best JJK episode before this came out. The animation was yet again godlike. Not quite as fluid as Episode 16, but visually more stunning. It actually looked like a goddamn movie. The voice acting was the also, in my opinion, the best we've seen in the show, especially from Junichi Suwabe as Ryomen Sukuna and Junya Enoki as Itadori Yuji. I actually almost cried at the end, due to what I had just witnessed. And When they played the opening at the end... god... Mappa cooked.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Thunderclap (2023)
PEAK
This is the BEST Jujutsu Kaisen Episode yet. Literally had me hooked from the first minute to the last. The Animation? Best in the show, hell maybe even the best I've ever seen from Mappa. They really knocked it out of the Park with this Episode. The Voice Acting was of course also top tier. The Whole Fight between Jogo and Sukuna really almost felt cinematic if I'm being honest. Haven't felt something like this since the infamous Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 17. This whole season just has keeps cooking for each new episode and it doesn't seem like it'll be stopping any time soon. Jujutsu Kaisen fans are truly eating good right now.
Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch: Re; (2008)
One Piece & AOT Fans are Pathetic
I think it was only 2 weeks ago that this episode still had a rating of 9.9/10, which it rightfully deserves. This is the perfect ending to a brilliant anime with an insane plot twist, a 9.9 was only fitting. And it has kept this rating for many years, until now...
In case you don't know, One Piece fans and Attack on Titan fans have basically been at war this past year, fighting over which show is better, has higher rating, etc.
So basically One Piece fans and AOT fans started review bombing each others episodes, rating their newest episodes a 1/10, even though said episodes were most of the time objectively good. The newest Attack on Titan episode went from a rating of 9.7/10 to a rating of 9.4/10, having a total of 5K 1 star ratings. Then One Piece episode 1071, a very highly anticipated episode, got review bombed by AOT fans, having a rating of 9.0/10, with 4.6K 1 star ratings. I personally find this kind of behavior childish, especially as someone who enjoys both of these shows. Now, it seems Anime fans in general have decided that no anime is allowed to have a episode with a 9.9/10 rating, so for some reason they started going after anime, like Code Geass, that had nothing due to with this conflict and review bombing them. Now this episode sits at a rating of 9.8/10, with almost 1K 1 star ratings...
As of now, the only anime that still has a 9.9/10 episode, is Vinland Saga, but I doubt that'll last.
Anyway, I just needed to get this of my chest. Another thing is I don't hate AOT or One Piece, both are fantastic shows, but their fanbases are or act like a bunch of immature children.
One Piece: Romance Dawn (2023)
IT'S ACTUALLY GOOD!!!
"One Piece" a Netflix Series, based on the Manga by Eiichiro Oda, follows Monkey D. Luffy on his quest to find the One Piece. When the first trailer for the show released on Youtube, fans of the source material, as well as completely new viewers were skeptical on whether this show would be actually good or a complete dumpster fire. Anime live-adaptations don't have a reputation of being good, examples being the Cowboy Bebop Netflix adaptation, as well as the Death Note Movie. So understandably, fans would be skeptical. But as more trailers for the show released, fans started becoming hopeful. What looked the most promising in the trailers were definitely the actors and the set design. And I must say, they nailed those two aspects in the live action adaptation. Pretty much every character looks accurate to its Manga/Anime counterpart and the actors nail their character's respective personality, especially Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy and Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro. And as previously mentioned, the set design is so accurate and brilliantly incorporated into the live action aesthetic, it's genuinely beautiful. My only real complaint is the CGI for Luffy's Powers... Many people commented on Luffy's Devil Fruit looking weird and iffy in the trailer and unfortunately it doesn't look much better in the actual show, but it doesn't take away much of the enjoyment, so it's somewhat passable. Overall, this is a great start to the show and I hope it keeps this quality. 8/10 A very good Episode.
