Worst Directed Movie In Hollywood History
4 September 2023
Visually, the director's choices are questionable. The use of digital cameras in a period piece leads to a jarring visual style that feels out of place. The frequent reliance on handheld cameras and shaky-cam techniques further detracts from the viewing experience, making it difficult to fully immerse oneself in the story. I felt like the entire budget went threw the cast expenses, truly sad.

The movie truly falls short of its potential, despite its stellar cast and intriguing subject matter. Lack of character development, pacing issues, historical inaccuracies, and visual distractions all contribute to its overall disappointment. While it has moments of promise, the film ultimately fails to deliver a compelling and well-executed portrayal of the Dillinger-Purvis saga, leaving viewers with a sense of unfulfilled potential.
