Mummies (2023)
Not much drama, but fun.
I was quite hesitant to watch this at first, even halfway through the film, but then it grew on me. It throwbacks the classic kids' movies in the past. Although it cannot be compared to the emotion and drama of pixar animated films, this one sticks to the simple storyline but does it will enough to entertain me. I give it a rating of 7 because I feel that the story is a little rushed. Even though things happen fast this film, more time for adventure is given to the characters. Another thing that I love about this film is the choice of popular songs for the soundtrack as it as to the nostalgia. Overall, I like it. It does not have much drama but it is indeed fun.
Le petit prince (2015)
Childhood. Worth embracing.
I have read the book several times years ago, and it has become one of my favorites. I don't consider it a children's story, but someone that beautifully express truths in life that many of us, grown-ups forget. Many people as they move on in life continue to go on and losing the inner child within them. This film is a beautiful reminder of not only remembering, but embracing the child-like innocence which we always have. It is life changing, if we have that within us. Great job at this film and delivering the message by telling the original story within a new sorry. Still, the message was well delivered. A total respect and tribute to the original piece of art.
