Fusillade de Columbine: Dans la tête des tueurs (2007)
Do Not Watch This.
Don't watch this. Not because it's disturbing. Not because it's a horrible subject. Don't watch this because it's a absolute horsesh-t. After the massacre in 1999, we were all lied to. There's no conspiracy or anything like that, but the narrative saying Harris and Klebold were outcasts and were constantly picked on by other students was a lie. Eric was a popular student. He was even in a relationship with a woman five years his senior. Eric Harris was a true psychopath- someone who truly wanted to cause harm to as many people as he could. If he didn't shoot you his school, we would still know who Eric Harris is, but for different reasons. Dylan Klebold was his little follower. A depressed high schooler who just needed someone to follow. Unfortunately, Dylan picked a monster.
Midway (2019)
An insult to filmmaking and veterans.
Keep in mind, I only watched this movie because the wonderful Patrick Wilson stars. I knew from the first 30 seconds of the trailer this film was gonna be absolutely insufferable.
I was right.
First off, the story is fine. The action is okay, although action movie cliches should not be in war films- especially war films based on true events. Casting, except for Patrick Wilson, is fine, could be better. The absolute worst part of this movie is the CGI.
The film is 2hrs 18mins. About 1hr 59mins of it looks like a cartoon. A cheesy cutscene from a subpar video game released in 2002. CGI had come a long way since then. This movie came out 2019. The Lord of the Rings was released in 2002 and the CGI still holds up. No excuse.
I saw footage of the film being shown to WWII veterans and the had tears in their eyes. I cried too, but only because this film can't even pass as a cheesy war film from the 50's.
