The First Omen (2024)

This woman needs to Direct.. the new exorcist movie

Totally and absolutely poetic horror movie. Cinematography direction acting are all top-notch... imagery.... The imagery and this movie is absolutely spell-bounding. And most definitely not for children... this movie picks up or should I say starts before 1976s the omen... where the beginning of the so-called antichrist, and they origins begins... this one is more graphic than the three sequels, and the remake combined..... but much more stylish... Enough this is a first time effort from the Director, who deserves an Academy award...... Movie also set up for sequel if needed.... Which, considering the events of the former three movies will be interesting....

Not for the faint of heart....... this film got the dreaded x-rating..... at first..... for good reason..... and was given a rating.... Thanks to clever editing .....

Red Sonja (1985)

I remember as a child going to the movies to see red Sonja.... yes, it's silly... but Bridget Nielsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger have amazing chemistry, and will keep you entertained.... The photography is lush. The dialogue isn't too bright.... But it's not supposed to be an Academy award-winning movie it's supposed to entertain, and that it does..... Particularly Schwarzenegger and Nielsen are definitely eye candy as the rest of the . The mysticism of the movie is also particularly appealing.... As is the sword and sorcery.. So, if you just wanna movie that you can watch, be entertained, then go buy a hamburger... this movie is for you

I certainly enjoyed it and do have a copy of it in my library.....

This is indeed a hard watch... I never really cared for William style of journalism... but to see her in this state is heartbreaking and I wish her nothing but the best.. and nothing but love and peace to her fragile mind... the problem in watching this movie and working in Mental Health myself... is that everybody has got their own interpretation of what healing means.... I cannot understand just by the information given in this limited series.. why her family cannot be more involved... her sister, niece, nephew, and especially her son, seem more capable of handling Wendys, well-being and welfare. It's absolutely mind-boggling.... no judgments let's just pray for her at this point and her family so that she can be healed and able to withstand all of what the future will bring her... But again, this series is a hard watch.....

The Godfather Part III (1990)

That being said the Godfather part three, especially, and re-edited form is a masterpiece al Pacino, Talia Shire, Diane Keaton, mesmerizing .. the movie picks up as there are concerns with Pacinos, two grown children... and Diane Keaton's character find herself appalled at the fact that her ex-husband is trying to be legitimate as she knows the truth.... performances, cinematography, top-notch... OK the elephant in the room... Sofia Coppola... this is a very important role and would probably... would've been better off with a much more seasoned actress.. even Madonna... would've added to the mystique of the picture, but Sofia adds a bit of childhood, innocence and sweetness to this role and it's obvious that she's doing her best... and I see no reason to tear this pool girl apart for doing her best ....aside from that... this is a masterful motion picture and most definitely worth your attention and a worthy successor to parts one and two.... In fact, I'd almost say it was superior.

Madame Web (2024)

While Madame Webb will not win a slew of Academy Awards.... and rather clunky at some parts, it is entertaining and could have and should have been much better. Dakota Johnson saves the movie from total annihilation and gives a winning and gradually good performance.... Her young costars are equally impressive..... storyline is a different matter, special effects and cinematography at top-notch... and although it can be rather forgettable... I didn't mind at all... It is difficult to understand why they didn't delve into the Spider-Man lore a little more... it kind of has the type of feel to it that Morbius had.... Now I thought that was misunderstood and should've and could've been better as well..... but again it's a good way to waste two hours...

Griselda (2024)

Sophia Vergara shines as Griselda

...... it took me a while to get through this miniseries.. and the time was well invested... the real story I've heard is much worse than despicable in this series... but Sophia is a revelation.... you absolutely cannot take your eyes off of her. She command the screen with enough presents for 10 features.... she is elegant yet deadly yet restrained.... There iaee definitely many awards in the future for her the supporting cast is equally as important and mesmerizing..... It is obvious that this story heavily from someone else's version of Griselda... it is one version and one story you simply have to see Vara is completely mesmerizing... and your interest for the entire six hour show.

Sex and the City 2 (2010)

It never fails to amaze me of how some people can be so incredibly cruel, spiteful, and trite.... sex in the city 2... will never win an Academy award it's entertainment nothing more nothing less.... It is funny, glitzy and glamorous.... it runs the same tone of the TV series.. Absolutely mindless entertainment... fabulous looked truly fabulous in their clothes.... And this time go to Dubai..... Again the movie follows the same potlines as the TV series, Michael, Patrick King, Direct's and Sarah, Jessica Parker and the girls attempt to steal our hearts once more.... Do yourself a favor and go with no expectations. You'll have a great time..... ignore the would be critics.... Be your own person.

Our Son (2023)

I get it I totally get it. This movie is stupendous, entertainment, and emotional roller coaster ride with highs and lows. Billy Porter and Luke Evans shine, and should be considered for Academy Awards.... the young child who played their child even more so... complicated movie with a complicated theme with raw emotions, running rapid and burning through the screen... a little melodramatic... But like our relationships are good or bad... It turns out that Love is much stronger than pride and both individuals involved. Learn to love this little boy, and put their own needs below his.... Watch the movie with an open heart

And an open soul..

The Color Purple (2023)

First of all, let me just say this is stupendous entertainment. The movie is almost 3 hours long and I wasn't bored not for one second. Fantasia is a revelation. Her performance is pitch perfect her soulful eyes expose every emotion nuance above dialogue. Taraji P Henson is also above par.... Danielle Brooks brings comic relief and dramatic revelation as well... every cast member goes above and beyond to give a total dramatic pleasure, song, dance music, and a tearful end, are part and parcel of this excellent movie... this is a cost a remake, and it certainly on par if not surpasses the original... there are a few surprises as well.. what a wonderful holiday movie.. I personally highly recommend it go see it and be entertained...

The Exorcist (1973)

A beautifully made well directed well acted ugly movie

Is this movie truly entertaining? Is it scary is the acting top-notch is the direction top notch as well the answer is absolutely yes..... it is an amazingly well-made movie with brilliant performances, brilliant photography, brilliant acting, and a subtle low-key music score that will make the hairs on your chest stand up. However it is also a very ugly movie as it deals with torturing a child which is something I personally have a problem with even if it's all not real.... Linda Blair, Ellen Burston, Max, Von Sydow Miller, all put in truly magnificent performances. In fact, at times they perform too well... frankly I prefer it s sequel, in terms of originality storyline, and a beautiful hero... who finally understands the origins of Pazuzu... and exercises him herself...

Liz & Dick (2012 TV Movie)

Ok.... so here we have another bio pic desisting, Elizabeth Taylor, and Richard Burton's life... The movie is stylish and very well done photography, lush and the director also did a competent job. The biggest problem with this production is Lindsey lohans, casting. Now first and foremost as I despise mean and hateful people let me say that I think Lindsey is a very talented, beautiful girl and have enjoyed her and many movies. Even this one to a point....... I say that because I have seen pretty much all of Elizabeth Taylor's movies watched her mannerisms her acting, her voice, her voluptuous figure and bawdy sense of humor with that said... Lindsey Lohan takes absolutely no lessons in terms of her ability to be Elizabeth Taylor. Now Lindsey if properly directed could've pulled it off but for some reason which I don't understand the Director of this movie made no attempt to pull this out of her. Because of that, we have a mediocre movie that could have and should've been a lot better. Bowler is more like it. He tries very hard to capture the essence of Richard Burton, and he doesn't look like him but he can act which makes him a good candidate for this role. .... it should be noted. Lindsey has been made to bear a slight resemblance to Elizabeth Taylor, which is good..... However, that does not save this production.... Although it is mildly entertaining.

Dreamgirls (2006)

This film truly was an exercise not only an African-American culture, but a damn good example of what I'm movie musical should be.... The cast was beyond sublime... and overperformed in many many ways... As I say, too many people, and will say again, please people don't listen to what anybody else has to say be an individual go see this movie.... Jennifer Hudson was an absolute joy Jamie Foxx under plays his role on purpose, which does undercut what he's capable of dramatically... but the character was simply to show how slimy and unemotional he was... Anika Rose was totally versatile, and gave a very underrated performance.... Beyoncé Knowles reaches new heights, and certainly has come along way with her dramatic abilities..... Eddie Murphy in my opinion has always been underrated and dramatic Department.. and gave a very measured heartbreaking performance..... Dreamgirls absolute masterpiece

Don't miss out on a gem... it's a roller coaster ride and well worth the price of admission....

The Exorcist: Believer (2023)

A moderately worthy sequel... don't listen to critics

The exorcist believer is part one and a three-part trilogy currently in production.... It is well acted beautifully shot and has a lot of surprises as well as a lot of nostalgic touches..... the movie special effects, which are plentiful are very well..,, and Lydia and Olivia perform very well as the possessed little girls..... while I preferred the heretic to the first movie, mainly because of the ideas which it offered..., this is a moderately entertaining movie, and contains scenes of horror.. But has a slow burn aspect to it... please friends don't listen to critics judge the movie for what it is... as it does have aspects... of all the sequels and prequel's in it....

Mame (1974)

Lucille Ball is MAME..... and I ain't kidding... Lucy is is charming, beautiful and funny as she always was. She is the grand dame of this movie and does an absolutely fabulous job with her character and her comment. Timing of course.... OK Lucy can't sing.... No doubt.... And it would've been better if her singing voice had been dumped.... But that's a Monroe distraction when you have the talents of Beatrice Arthur Robert Preston, and Vera Charles.... The movie is a testament to the grand days of Hollywood and that's all that matters.... It's two hours of fun, glamour song, and dance..... and a testament to the grand Splenda that is Lucille Ball.

Hocus Pocus 2 (2022)

Hocus-pocus two is an absolute hoot... and what a Divine pleasure it is to see bette Sarah and Kathy at work again and this delightful sequel look people it's not meant to be an Oscar calibrated film. It's meant to be fun....!!! Please don't give into the naysayers. Everyone has their point of view, and certainly is entitled to that point of you... but if you want pure escapist entertainment this is the movie for you the divine miss m of course is the star... and definitely ask the part the sequel does not disappoint.... And I repeat is not to be taken seriously...... I certainly hope all our evangelical friends are listening....

A totally silly and fun experience.... Sarah Bette and Kathy shine..... there will be a part three be ready...!!!!

Swept Away (2002)

Let us be clear... I love Madonna.... And throughout my adult life, I have come to realize there's certain people should be praised and loved for what they offer..... this does not mean that every movie and every actor should be on par with Betty Davis, Meryl Streep and viola Davis.... This brings us to swept away.... And it's controversial star Madonna........ the hate that has been put up on. This woman is absolutely totally unnecessary for as I said...... madonna is going to be Madonna..... now I understand that some people simply don't want Madonna to be anyone else, but herself as her presence is larger than life....... But there's no reason to be cool.... The lady does exactly what her Director is asking her to do.... Her performance is touching while at first irritating, but that's exactly what it's supposed to be..... friends don't listen to critics.... Be individuals..... see the movie for yourself.... Is it Oscar award worthy?

No

But it is a good solid piece of entertainment guy Ritchie delivers, as does the rest of the cast....

Madonna is a decent actress and does her best and that's all we should want from her.

The Flash (I) (2023)

The flash is quite simply one of the best superhero movies I have ever seen... Miller is the heart and soul of the movie... Calle Keaton Affleck, and some really cool surprises make this summer movie one of the best ever....... The special effects cinematography acting are all top notch..... the movie contains some truly dazzling, special effects, plot lines, and all actors involve execute them perfectly... this is the one you've been waiting for... spectacular fun on every level..... do not be deterred by the naysayers that simply cannot, or will not enjoy a simple escapist fun movie.... Most everybody is on board from previous DC movies...... it was truly refreshing to see Michael Keaton, and Ben Affleck simultaneously as Batman.....

The Mother (2023)

Jennifer Lopez shines and proves she is a force to reckon with..... her acting is top notch. Some people can be so unnecessarily, deceptive and divisive when reviewing a movie.... Do not listen to those shameless individuals affair to outstanding action thriller..... with a strong supporting, cast and decent action sequences... it's good to see Lopez doing some thing aside from romantic comedies.... As she definitely has a range... I am very happy to see her emote the way she does... she has a strong supporting cast Omari Hardwick... is also very underrated and a force to reckon with... Jennifer Lopez has her own production company, and this is one of the movies..

Again, do not listen to any negative reviews... this is very entertaining movie and Jennifer Lopez shines....

The Reading (I) (2023)

Do not listen to other people spouting negativity. This movie is chilling, and Monique is absolutely at her best.. a true exercise in madness...... she truly proves why she is such an excellent and beguiling actress, and is deserving of her academy award... with a twist you will not be ready for... she plays a wife who is whole family gets murdered before her eyes....

Wow, the production budget is obviously low. The Director makes the most of his film.... This movie is slow burn at its best... you truly cannot take your eyes off the characters or the screen for fear you're going to miss something....

Harlem (2021– )

Life does not need imitate art and vice versa

Absolutely great show great performances great dialogue sex in the city meets girlfriends........ Meagan good is perfectly Cast grace Byers is to die for.... Give it a chance guys you won't be disappointed an absolute hoot.... it does need some tightening up.... But give it a chance. There are some folks out there that feel the characters are negative. Give it up guys it's entertainment nothing more nothing less..... very well photographed and the themes are very entertaining. Characters are endearing and definitely worth a look..... I particularly enjoy the performances of all the actresses involved and can't wait until season two.

The role Dwayne Johnson was born to play.... Make no mistake black Adam is stupendous entertainment on all levels rarely Have I ever given a film a perfect score for black Adam close to two hours running time and definitely doesn't feel like it is just about perfect on all levels cinematography script acting storyline and direction all above par one of the best superhero movies I have ever seen go and see black Adam... but Dwayne Johnson has black Adam does not disappoint he is absolutely one of the best superhero action characters ever made.... It also is quite encouraging to see a man of color plays such a statuesque superhero... ..

And don't forget the end of credit zip..... there is no question there will be a sequel and I can't wait.

So you don't like the wokeness that's tough get used to it there's a lot more that came from..... An absolute joy to See three imperfect women trying to live and grow older in an imperfect evolving society... Sarah Jessica Parker shines I totally enjoyed watching these flawed women and realizing their situation's while imperfect are important for the characters liberation.... Forget the naysayers check season two out it'll be even more fabulous than this one.... Kristen Davis also shines still a little goofy and still beautiful... I did have a little issue with Miranda's character being happily married and committing to a really attractive and decent guy only become intrigued by lesbian relationship..... But she has some scenes which are hilarious which I won't spoil for you

But as we said before three imperfect flawed women living in a new society with different challenges.
