Shocking
25 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This is the most shocking documentary series I've ever watched. The third episode is pure gold, sending chills through my back. Recently, I just finished a docu series on Cathy Anthony, which was made in 2017. That series lights up my curiosity about this notorious case, so I pick up this series to know more about it. I didn't expect much. Boy, it blows my mind totally. The episode one and two didn't bring too much new material. But the third episode drives the story way beyond my wildest imagination. The entertainment value is 10/10 for sure. Reality is stranger than fiction. Even the best script writer cannot make up this twisted story. After watching the 2017 docu series, I draw a conclusion that the whole Anthony family are all liars. After watch this series, I think even her defense team members are all liars. The movie wants us to believe Casey Anthony is the good guy. But so many huge logic holes are there. Why she still refuse to tell what's happened on that day, after so many years? Why the defense team members all believe Casey is the good guy even they still don't know what's happened? Why Casey try to paint her as a sexual victim by her brother but still insists her brother didn't rape her? Why Casey still didn't explain why she seems so happy after her child's death? The most ridiculous thing is that her defense lawyer says her partying activity proves she is a good mother, not a bad mother. The nerve!

Though Provoking
24 February 2023
A job well done by the film maker. I knew a little about this case when it was on TV that year. But I didn't follow it closely at that time. So this series tells me the whole story. I feel right angry after watching it. The devils won, including Casey, her evil lawyer and her evil parents. First, the whole theory of "proving beyond reasonable doubt" is WRONG. Nothing in this world is 100% sure, nothing. Even the medicine we take for our disease doesn't always work all the time. If congress requires 100% agree with each other, not a single law will pass. We have to change to Majority Rule instead. Second, the requirement of "never heard about this case on media" for jury picking is obsolete. Nowadays everybody has a cellphone with news on it. If a jury member claims he/she never heard of this case, he/she is lying for sure. You end up with 10 liars on the Jury. We need to cancel this requirement totally. Third, at the end of the series, I finally realize the key person is Casey's mother. Casey learned her lying skill from her mother. Both of them can lie with a "sincere face". And I believe they can sleep like a baby after lying. In other words, they don't have conscience, like most people have. Plus, her father also put on a "sincerity" show in the end. I don't believe anything this family said anymore. They all knew what's really happened.

Why nobody talk about Sheela
14 February 2023
First of all, this documentary series is well made. Ok, we put this aside. But during watching the episodes, I can feel the pure evil of this lady, Sheela, and how she pretended to be a good person. That really makes me feel angry. I have to pause the movie and go to IMDB to see somebody's curse on her. To my surprise, nobody mention her. Am I the only one who hate her? I have been reading books by Osho or on Osho for many years. I knew Sheela's story before I watch this movie. But to see her speaking and lying in so many details, really piss me off. So, that's my suggestion to the movie directors: you should not give her so long air time, basically you give a criminal a limitless time to defense herself. The series can be shorten if Sheela's talking time being cut in half. Many viewer felt the series is unnecessarily long.

very disappointing
11 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I am a big fan of this UNTOLD series documentaries. So, almost every episode gave me good surprise, except this one. This episode only has a good title. The story is straight forward. Not twist, no surprise, no suspension. And the boating sport, what can I say, it's not a sport. The captain of the american team had a huge belly and fat. I doubt he can achieve anything in other real sport. The first 20 minutes repeatedly boast how awesome this sport is. It's not. Not many peopel play this game. And you can tell from the beginning the australian will win the game. When you know the result of the game, the thrill is gone. I don't know why this episode make in this UNTOLD serie.

it gets better and better
10 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Never heard of this tennis player. Don't know what this film is all about. Even forget why I download this film. But I am so glad I clicked play on this movie. The first 30 minutes is just so so, about 2 kids play tennis. Then one of the kid became US champion. At that moment, I guessed this movie it's about how you accept living as an ordinary person, as a footnote to another successful person. Then the movie picked up pace. The ordinary kid suddenly transformed himself. He not only replaced the former US champion, his childhood friend, but also became top player in the world. I got excited by the plot. I paused the movie. Searched on the web about those great tennis players mentioned in the movie. But then, the plot took another unexpected turn. The movie got even better, deeper, more interesting, more emotional. I won't expose all the plots here. Go watch it. But you won't have the same experience as I have, but you already know the movie has several twists. How lucky I am to watch it without knowing anything. Thanks to the director. All the Untold series are quality products.

Here is what I feel about those charactors
25 November 2022
I was so emotional after watching this episode. I was crying when I saw Nancy saying "I don't know what's right what's wrong". For some reason beyond logic, I like Nancy and feel sympathy for her. On the other hand, I feel repulsed by Lauren, her daughter. I even don't like some "good people" in this documentary series, including Sarah and her husband. Just don't like this couple. Bonnie has a kind heart. I can feel it. I also like Barbara, and the prosecutor. There are several idiots, including the bald girl, the guy with speech problem, I don't like them but I don't hate them either. But I hate Nicki. She really need to be put in jail. She is not an idiot. She is a devil, rotten at core. Plus, the lawyer of Keith. He is evil too. I understand lawyer is suppose to defend his client. But I can feel, this lawyer is heartless. He is similar to Keith.

It's so dark that I am shaking now
16 November 2022
Just finished Season 2 Episode 5, it's so dark. I'm shaking. Keith Rainere deserve death penalty. It's unbelievable how the people around him can go along with all his evil manipulations. And, his lawyer can shamelessly say Keith did't break law is beyond my understanding. This lawyer is as heartless as Keith is. I watched all the episodes of the vow season one and season two. I have to say something. This Keith Raniere guy is pure evil. He is more cruel than all other cult leaders. His gentle appearence is decieving. He is worse than Jim Johns or David Koresh. Most cult leaders are delusional and believed their own lies. Keith Rainere is not. He clearly don't believe his own words.

One of the best documentaries I've Seen
13 November 2022
One of the best documentaries I've Seen, and I've seen a lot of documentaries. One thing stands out of this series is it has many real footage and recordings. This is a documentaries should be. Nowadays, many so called "documentary" has no or very little real video footage and has many interviewer to talk about the events instead. I think part of the reason is Mark is a documentary director, so he took and saved many video recordings. But the drawback of this movie is it drags too long. Sometimes the talking is too "word salad" to be understood by ordinary viewers. My favorite moment is Mark admit he nolonger know what is right and what is wrong with tears in his eyes. I have the same feeling after years of studying self help methods, although I haven't join any cult. Mark says nobody knowingly join a cult. They only join a group of good people with good intention, then it turns out to be a cult. So true. These self help methods mainly teach you to interpret an event differently from your natural reaction. You no longer trust your instinct or common sense. As the result in the end, you totally mess up your value system. What a great movie. I want to thank you for the maker of this movie.

I watched all the episodes of the vow season one and season two. I have to say something. This Keith Raniere guy is pure evil. He is more cruel than all other cult leaders. Totally Entertaining
9 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
When I began to watch this series, I don't know what it is about. Wow, the watching experince is way beyond my expectation. Four episodes, each one have an unexpected turn. It really proves that saying "reality is stranger than fiction". Entertaining aside, I also learned something from this series. I believe her story of "doubting the reality". My own life experince proves I constantly doubt "what is real". Expecting the mystical world to be real is what make my life meaningful. Many persons give this series low score because they think Sarma make this theory up. But I totally experinced it year after year, day by day. However, when the story approaching the third episode, I began to doubt Sarma was lying about some of her activities and her intentions. But all in all, I believe she was brainwashed by her husband. Another thing, I think the law is way too soft on this kind of crime. Her husband only get one year sentencing.
