Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (2019)
absolutely fantastic
I think that anyone who really, and I mean really bady gets stuck, and dies to every enemy they come up against, and then proceeds to criticise the game for this, you should have probably searched up about the game and researched about the difficulty, as you often see the final boss is described as one of the hardest bosses in history. I am not that far into this game (I just beat the Blazing Bull), and so far, I have found absolutely nothing wrong with this masterpiece of a game. I'm not finding the game too easy, or too hard, which is great. I have beaten Elden Ring with some uses of summons and have got to about half of Bloodborne. I have a bit of experience with SoulsBorne games and I wanted more of a challenge with Sekiro. And I constantly think to myself that if I manage to beat Sekiro, I can almost definitely beat Dark Souls 1-3, and complete Bloodborne. And just that thought in my head that I am progressing and doing well in such an awesome, difficult, challenging and complex game sticks to me, and pushes me forward in wanting to beat it. Well, to anyone struggling on this game, kee pushing forward, don't give up and just best it, good luck.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm (2008)
Absolutely garbage
The side missions and just gameplay of this game, just frustrated me, my friend likes it, but jeez, I just hate this game. I played through and got to Ninja Storm 2, but I couldn't carry on, at all. Especially how the substitution jutsu works, it's just RNG and I despise it.
Ghost of Tsushima (2020)
Fantastic Game, Must Play
First of all, let's start of with the gameplay. As a person who really likes the idea of 'sword-fighting', this game was an absolute brilliant play. The parrying was satisfying, the 'perfect dodge', the stances, all of it, amazing. I loved the way you would have different stances for each enemy type, whether it's spearmen, ones with shields, brutes and swordsmen.
Next, let's talk about the visuals. The graphics and lighting in this game are phenomenal, I was constantly going into photo mode and taking beautiful pictures of Jin by waterfalls, on his horse (for me she's called Kage), and even mid-duel. The way this game looks just made the game feel so good, and just topped everything off.
Sucker Punch just can't make a bad game, from the Sly Cooper Series, to the inFamous games and now Ghost of Tsushima, their most recent title. This is one of the, if not the best samurai games ever created. The story was awesome, and I was just lost in this masterpiece. Even the side missions were excellent, I found myself just doing them with no end, just enjoying being able to play, and defeat enemies, looking badass and swift while doing so.
Even if The Last of Us Part II was released in the same year, this game 100% takes GOTY for 2020, there are so many words that can describe this game, fantastic is the lowest they can go.
