It's not about the search and rescue
4 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This film is about learning to appreciate what we take for granted and living with what we can't control. If you are looking for some feeling of redemption, you'll have to bring a shovel and a fine-tooth comb.

Damaged People
20 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
At it's heart, this film is about damaged people coming together to face their own trauma. It's an all around well made film. Some-what anticlimactic but that's part of the message. Great watch.

Gory, yet quite amusing
19 September 2021
Very entertaining. Never dull. Not for the squeamish. Noticeable Quentin Tarantino and Guy Richie influences, this film is perhaps even more violent. The director is also a Sergio Leone fan. Can't say enough about the incredible cinematography. If you ignore the buckets of blood, you can enjoy some truly beautiful (camera) shots.

The particular challenges each character faces in their life and the conflicts between them, make it impossible to choose sides, they're all relatible. Unless your heart is made of stone, this movie will definitely give you the feels.

An unusual film in the best sense of the word. Incredible ansemble with sparkling individual performances interwoven in a touching story of humanity. Emilio Estevez should be proud.
