30 Days of Night: Dark Days (2010)
Entertaining Watch
The biggest let down is that the vampires are not cold and calculated like the original ones. They seem to be very cartoonish. I was actually kind of disgusted with the acts of the 2007 version, which is fairly hard to say when I watch films.
This film sheds to much light on the vampires' whereabouts and does not leave the uncertainty that brings so much fear to the viewer. The so called vampire hunters are complete idiots and weak. I highly doubt that they would track the vampires that were in 30 Days of Night (2007).
Entertaining watch if anything.
Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming (2010)
Watch when bored, maybe not, you might fall to sleep.
Let's start with the choreography. Terrible, the main character seems to put so much effort into facial expressions and hand gestures that he forgot that he was suppose to be dancing/stepping. The entire cast had a hard time keeping up with the original cast, which made me continue to want to turn off the movie.
Seeing how I wanted to give the film a chance, it just didn't work. Sometimes, films should just say with the original and leave sequels for better script writing.
I guess adding a cameo in the film was suppose to make the film better, but their 5 minute appearance did not help anything.
If you want to pass an hour ½ give it a go, but don't expect anything as good as the first.
