Kicks (2016)
Sad that a pair of Jordans means more.
The Boy saves his money while selling candy and etc to get him a pair of much desired Air Jordans then he is jacked for them a day later and him and his friends go on a crazy journey to get his shoes back, having to make some serious moves that not only effect him but his friends and family as well. This is a very emotional and passionate movie to say the least, filled with good decisions and a lot of bad decisions, but it also makes you sink back into reality of how it actually is for our younger generations out here now , Would I have ever went though all of this just for a pair of Jordans...Nooo.
Last Man Down (2021)
Does not deserve to get back up!!
Oh my god , I can honestly say that this is the first time of me watching a movie and praying that lightning would strike my television, just so I would not have to suffer through another minute of this movie!! Some of the worst acting I have ever seen in my life...Please do not waste your time with this one.
Like the others have said , the nudity parts is even bad , normally a good nudity scene would halfway make up for it but it isn't even com close.
Half of the scenes the men look like they have never even handled a firearm in their life, much less fired one.
And for the love of god if you are going to have your main character of the movie walking around looking nice as him then at least see if he can act half decent.
Desperation Road (2023)
Drama and gets the tears flowing
This is one of the better movies I have watched n a long time , definitely reminds you that this world is a lot smaller than we all think it is and that God definetly has a plan mapped out for all of us, Mel Gibson did an incredible job as usual, this movie had a little action in it but more heart felt moments than anything . By the end of this movie I had that uncomfortable lump in my throat ,You know the one you get when you are trying to fight back the tears so the person next to you doesn't see you boo hoo like a big cry baby.
All of the actors did an excellent job , I loved that Opie from Sons of Anarchy was also in it as well. Not one single time was I confused in this movie , they made it very easy to follow and didn't leave me scratching my head at all:)
