I am surprised

All I have been hearing about this show is bad things. About how people hate it, and that it's the worst thing they have seen in their life. So normally, going into this I was prepared to hate it, like everybody else. But I was disappointed. In a good way.

I actually kinda like it, and really don't understand why people are hating on it. I'm assuming all of the people leaving bad reviews have only seen 1 or 2 episodes. And that's the problem. Cuz I have to admit, the beginning is questionable and I get why people may not like it, but by the time you get to episode 3 and 4, you start to like it.

I really don't get all the hate. The visuals are good, the sets are good, the music is good, and well, the acting is ok. Idk what people were expecting in regards of the acting. Lily did a good job. And to all of the people saying that The Weeknd was bad, HES A SINGER?!? Like what did you expect from him? Ofc his first time isn't gonna be spectacular. It's like expecting a doctor fresh out of med school to cure cancer.

What in the world did I just watch? I am a horror fan, and have seen quite a few horror movies. Some were better, some were...lets just say acceptable. But this? This is a whole new level of bad.

Lets start with the plot. The plot in its self wouldn't be bad, it was just executed very poorly. Also, the alien part was pushed aside, when basically that's the whole plot. I wish they had done something with that, other than only putting it at the end. This way it seems almost forced. Like they had no idea how to end the movie so they threw in the aliens as a plot twist. Also, what's up with the blisters the guy was cutting off of himself? Why did that have to be in the move? What did it add to the story?

The movie was extremely boring. I found myself skipping half the movie cuz I just couldn't anymore.

I think it may be wort watching, but its definitely a one-time-only watch. This movie is truly gonna stuck with me, but not because how good it was, rather then how bad it was.
