Kalank (2019)
Big "star" , Cliché scenes , hugly disappointing
This movie is typical case where big production houses think audience is fool who came to theater only to watch the costumes and makeup.
From starting scene the induction of characters were totally unreleted and just show off. As , the story progresses, director forgets the story and too much focus on big setups and costumes. The final scene of chasing train is just extension of DDLJ, unnecessary with boaring end.
Director Abhishek Varman, may be crushed under big production name of Karan Jauhar to show unrealistic setups. He forgets that he needs to tell the expression for scenes.
Every characters emotion is flat even though story took the turn.
With series of big flops like Zero, Thugs Of Hindostan now soon Kalank join the club. Big produk houses need to think and bring good movies. It's been years they are keep serving the old rotten story of pointless love story and showing as eternal love.
Little Things (2016)
This is real !!!
Story and narration is really about little things. A person in relationship can relate very much. Most of sit-com are about comedy but this one is really close to real life.
I really like the chemistry between two people and how they pull the screenplay. This is something no one should miss.
Ghoul (2018)
Average+ series with lost purpose
Ghoul and Sacred Games are new entry in Indian television with quality content.
This content is very new to Indian mass audiences. It's very good small budget and some of small details crafted television drama.
I am not adding story details as it would be spoilers.
Horror Level: 6
Gore: 8
Good: Acting and Plot
Average: Story telling and loose ends
Bad: You make a horror flick. Just make it. Scare the audiences. Don't try to mix propaganda.
Lens (2016)
Disturbing narration of privacy breach
This movie really kept on the edge all the time. Realistic cinematography and acting keeps the movie flowing. Director Jayaprakash has done really great job on stacking present and past just at right place. Movie is very much realistic and shows what something fun for someone can destroy another person's world.
I.D. (2012)
Great performance but cliché killed the movie being great
Strarting of movie build up with great plot but start loosing just before the half way. Main character played the part very well. However, the whole part of holding the painter mobile with running around is just too irritating. Also part of fighting with contractor to go to police is useless. she could have just given the mobile to Police and contractor details would have done the job very well.
keep searching for ID on her own and getting into difficulty would have be best.
Lost (2004)
Dude... this is addictive
This is one of wonderful thriller series I have been watch which have capability to compare with any good Si-fi movie with having a pace and interestingness through out the season. The directer beautifully able to connect the past of character to present situation and it look awesome when this happen.
Every character has it's own touch and practical specially John Locke, sayid and jack.
Storyline: A plane crashes on lonely island and there is no way back. Now everyone just trying to survive to get back while reviling the secrets of each other. As days past they find that they are not alone and there are some unusual activity and things started a happening to them.
Salaam Bombay! (1988)
best movie on Bombay (Mumbai) slum children
movie described the dark side of Indian urban society.
A child have to work on roadside tea stall. he wanted to skip from all circumstances around him. Including try to save his drug addicted friend and save a girl from being prostitute . but can't even give himself a good life. Story starts with red light area and slum of mumbai and ends with it. this movie force to think us can we live like this ,can't we do something for those slum children who just started their life. director unleashed the other side of Bombay life, not even a single shot of rich Mumbai. finest directed movie ever I seen. this movie is better than "Slumdog millionaire".
